Yep. That is the nicest one in my book and if I wanted to get one, that would be what I went for. The muted colors are less obviously plastic, and it is different enough from my Moonwatch..
:)

Mercury or Moon safest bet loh
But imo, if getting such a novelty watch, should get it in a bright colour. Swatch and gshock should always be loud and fun

Cos it's cheap. If it's $3720 selling at omega boutique, doubt will have such response.
You mean if it's still a Swatch x Omega, exact same watch?

There will still be a strong response. You'd be surprised what hype allows one to get away with (hint: Kurono. Ming.).

Mixed feelings about this. The Mars watch look like polar expedition...

Is there a change in omega mgmt recently? Seems like there's a big change in design and direction
Yeah out of everything, probably would go with either Moon or Mercury.

I guess it comes down to personal preference bah. To some, this might be a nice "entry" level to start with.
To others, might be a "fun" type of watch to wear. There will be flippers no matter what. It is what it is.

At the end of the day, as long as you're happy with your purchase then that's good enough! :)

There you have it. Swatch x omega have done it.

Exposure worldwide everyones talking about it rather than talking about rolex
We guys here have just become part of hyping the project up by talking about it. future and upcoming young adults will get exposure to omega, possibility of catching up with rolex in term of market share from the young crowd.

everyone talking about this project from a consumer point of view, few look at it from a business point of view.

Definitely a win win situation for the swatch group.

The more I read about this collaboration, the more I felt strongly against owing a omega…

nothing wrong with owning a g shock because the market price and target audience has been that particular segment. Omega on the other hand, is like lowering itself to be a pasar malam brand.

imagine Louis Vuitton sells a keepall at $300!? They can close their boutiques and all preown shops will be stuck

This is a "fun" mass produced piece so with the heightened brand exposure will lead to some wishing to own more aspirational pieces. It will be very good for business down the line.

This is also considering that Omega is owned by the Swatch group.
