When I was young, I am curious to know what powers our games and PCs (gaming rig). When I grow older, that curiosity grows. Now I am more curious and continue to learn what powers and create that game (workstation) and powering the whole internet infra and backbone (machine learning, AI, networking and servers).

I started out as a user, now I became the architect, provider and enabler. My early days influence are indeed life changing.

Now my kids start from a RasPi, running opensource, powering their school projects.

Same here, very rare to find the same species. In IT specializations can earn more, and it's also more interesting.

Your coolermaster sickleflow is 3 pack one? Is it RGB or argb version? Control Color via bios?
hey bro, I bought 3-packs as well as singles. ARGB can be controlled via motherboard. Each brand have their own software to control.

Totally agree. It's sad how the new generation is. Totally opposite of what we were. They don't realise the stuff today is already so simplified and idiot proof. I remembered my Abit Fatality mobo I was playing with DIP switches for overclocking while today we sip coffee and change everything in BIOS. But if you ask me, I prefer the yesteryears. Game titles were great, people were a family of community, DIY was immensely popular (Remember how popular VR-Zone was before the enthusiastic community died off or simmered down).

Well, I guess life moves on but a special part of those computing years will always be the best moments for me. Changed and moulded the way I grew up. I'm quite sure it's the same for you. Basically I grew up starting with 5.25 floppy to 3.5 floppy and that has changed to USB 3.2 now. Lol!
lol remember that 5.25" floppy need to paste a tape for write protecting it

Current generation will never understand what we went through. 🤣🤣🤣

This is so nostalgic. I actually had this eons ago. 3.5 floppy for X-Wing VS Tie Fighter and a few others like Indiana Jones and Monkey Island.

No no all discarded already. I have them ported to my Android using SCUMMMVM. So I can still play those games like Indian Jones, Full Throttle and Monkey Island from time to time. Works pretty well.

Verbatim FTMFW!!! Maxwell was equally popular as well has a few games that came on 3.5 with that brand.

I see, I at times still use Dosbox to play old games, mainly all Koei games.
