Most states just do a self test, you don't need to report it even..

Looking at Queensland.
Government website writes: need to get professionally administered RAT after arrival within 24 hours.
Need to book an appointment with any clinic to show to Immigration?

Before check in, they will ask you to show the result of the test..

However that was back in Jan when i flew back.. not sure about the process now.. Immigration doesn't ask for it..

You can book with Doctoranywhere, they can do a video call with you to administer your test.

means I do not need to take any art or pcr test upon reaching the airport?
Means no requirement for pre-departure test when you depart SG to AU... but on arrival, may still require RAT... have to check when you're coming

From the update, 18 Apr onwards if you are going to AU, no need for pre departure test. But when coming back, need to do supervised ART 2 days before coming back. But this may change in the coming weeks.

check the State's website after 18th April. Each state requirement may be different. This is positive development.

Hi all, my spouse (malaysian)'s ETA visa wasn't immediately approved (unlike the rest of the family members singaporeans) and had to submit supporting documentation online. Did any of you experience this and how long did it take to finally get approval?

Am in the same predicament. Applied via ETA App mid-month, was asked to provide further info within 24hr of application, which we complied with. its been almost 3 weeks and still waiting. any datapoint on total leadtime (from submission to when folks finally received confirmation)? flight scheduled next week but while each passing day should be a day closer to the approval, cant see any light at the end of the tunnel at this stage. unfortunately it seems to be prevalent only for certain passports.

Very common for Malaysians. My passport (sg) was approved immediate but spouse (MY) same situation as yours. I went to some AU visa forums and they mentioned MY passport need 4 weeks onwards to get approved. End up I had to cancel my flight cause can't make it in time. Regretfully, I shouldn't have bought the flight ticket before applying for the ETA. Lesson learnt. Their procedure now is unlike last time approval on the spot already.
