I still have 2 touch and go card with me and there is money inside. But since the lockdown, I suppose I cannot use them anymore. Any chance of getting them re activated? Thanks.

I have purchase a new touch and go card (Ezlink and TnG 2 in 1). There is no value in the physical TnG card.
I have link the TnG card to the TnG E-Wallet. I have credit money in e-wallet.

Does the Malaysia custom check point accept VEP payment using the TnG E-wallet Paydirect?
I'm asking because there is no value $0 in the physical TnG card.

you can either take a bus in and top up, or borrow from your friend that has tng with stored value or ask someone to top up on your behalf when they go in

So looks like I can only purchase another card with some stored value from Carousell if I want to drive in to Malaysia again.

Any idea how to get the refund from the inactive card, I remember still have around RM100 stored value.

If you have not registered the card under your name in their portal, you cannot get a refund.

Ok the “expire 2027” physical card still works despite more than 2 years of inactivity.

However, it seems like PayDirect feature doesn’t seem to work even though my card is added into my TNG app. By right, VEP RM20 should be deducted from my TNG eWallet but it didn’t happen… deduction was made on the value in the physical card

payDirect only work for certain toll, road charge is not one of them. There is a list of toll inside the app that show which toll is able to payDirect.

If you want most of the toll transactions to deduct via e-wallet then get RFID (RM35)

if you have VEP sticker, you can link it to your e-wallet which is able to pay for road charge in addition to toll.
