Minister Lee said in general only 60 percent bto application select new flats.
Prime location 80 percent.

Take into above before u take SBF.

U either take SBF or BTo.


Any One know will system reject me if i apply both?

You can only apply for either, but not both.

you either sbf or bto can’t both

I just cancelled my BTO application and applied for SBF instead.

This time round BTO really bad choices cause I want 5 room flats. But SBF is also so competitive, like buying 4D 😅

Yeah 5 room sbf sure within luck

their supply usually less than 10 per non mature town while popular or mature area usually about 20-40 flat

so depends on your application too if 1st timer or 2nd timer ratio

Eh you guys who can wait for bto don't apply SBF leh leave it for us lol. 5th time applicant with no queue number here.

Haha I’m applying SBF, first timer with PPS and MCPS. If still can’t get number, I will give up SBF in future…..

I also don’t know how SBF ballot works

only I can share is

know a few friend apply together
Can’t recall which exercise but it during covid
Either 2020 or 2021
West area 4 room about 20+ unit

Person A - nothin (1st timer)
Person B - both PPS & MCPS (2nd timer?)
Person C - only MCPS (not sure)

ballot result
Person A - no 7
Person B - no 11
Person C - no 29

Case to case too maybe?
It all depends on luck actually.

Based on the location I applied for, I calculated that a first timer with no priority has around 1.3% chance of getting a number within the quota.

The odds increases for those with priority, but how much it increases depends on how many other ppl have PPS and MCPS priority as well cause they are competing among themselves.

So, a super lucky first timer can still get a very very good number. The odds may be lower than those with priority, but odds doesn’t really matter if you have luck.

If no luck, even a 95% chance also won’t get :(


Edit: now that I think about it, lol. 1.3% chance for a first timer with no priority to get a number within quota in sbf?!?! Lol to get a number really like win lottery. $10 for a lottery ticket 😅

Yes. BTO price was at August 2020.
Just about one year 10 months, Urban Ville price already adjusted up around $40,000.
Because everything has gone up. Materials, worker and cost etc...

got meh? they forfeit 17k from those that gave up. the contract given in aug 2020. now prices got increase when changing owners? so original owners dun give up the cost dun increase? i think they just wanna earn money lah.
