All 4k video will make phone /camera heat up fast. Sony did 6 minutes the other phones auto stop at 5 minutes if I'm not wrong
Sounds like it imhoChecked my battery usage, screen usage is the most at 40+ %, while other apps are less than 10%. My screen brightness is probably around 40%. Is this normal?
Vs retail msrp yes. But vs shop price I think is still higher. I think shops is 1.7k on carousell?Bet the Xperia Pro I also heats up..., those who got XPro I any feedback... my X1iii heats up like an oven...

Btw, this is the T3 airport price in Sony airside, is it cheaper?![]()

My screen is at around 21percent. What's your usage? You turn on creative mode and high refresh rate? I turn them both off hahaChecked my battery usage, screen usage is the most at 40+ %, while other apps are less than 10%. My screen brightness is probably around 40%. Is this normal?
Ah good catch haha, yes both are enabled for me. How's your battery life with those two settings off?My screen is at around 21percent. What's your usage? You turn on creative mode and high refresh rate? I turn them both off haha
Haha not bad ~ Its likely 120Hz that's draining most battery life. Also disable adaptive brightness. Only using it to test out sunlight legibility. I also disable digital wellbeing (last time it caused some glitch to the xperia 1III) as well as disable many notifications besides those useful ones.Ah good catch haha, yes both are enabled for me. Even for supposedly cooler but older chips like SD865 (which the 1 II and 5 II are using)?Yes its cheaper. The current selling price is $1969 with the speaker.
Xperia pro i also heat up. Watched reviews they got say. Currently none of the smartphones solve the heating of 4k and above video recording
Yes it was the same on the Pro-I, the thermal limit was around 50c before app shutdown. For continous 4k recording, I only managed to keep the temp to 46c by sticking a cooling fan on the back of the phone. Seems like the thermal limit is lower on the IV, not very surprising considering it packs arguably a hotter SoC and has a thinner body compared to Pro-I.Bet the Xperia Pro I also heats up..., those who got XPro I any feedback... my X1iii heats up like an oven...
