The exynos 1280 is a downgrade compared to Snapdragon 778G (but better than the a52 5g 750G).

No big major upgrades, therefore less hype

I wouldn't anticipate them restocking an older model when the newer one is released as it'll cannibalise sales. And they know that users will prefer the A52s over their newer A53 for chipset reasons alone.

You're better off sourcing elsewhere. Besides, their $120-off pricing should be similar to street pricing, with some forumers here sharing they got their sets at $3xx after discounts, or even $400ish without discounts.

Difficult to find it now. Many places oos.

Is either A33 or a Snapdragon 695 phone liao but purely at price, Samsung is very tempting

yeah the price is after vouchers and coins la. roughly between 350-360 that range. You'd think it's no brainer but somehow I am still considering. very few user reviews of A33 online. Hope I can make a decision by end of today, else can hold on until 7.7 although I suspect it will still be around the same price range

the cheapest A52s I can find on SHP was $550 before all the discounts. Us as users hyped the heck out of A52s bet all the sellers are not gonna reduce the price any lower, haha.

IDM the A33 only cos I remember A52s motor was disgusting. The kind I'd have disabled immediately lol.

I meant that from my memory of trying demo sets, A52s vibration is a very disgusting and muddy feeling that makes me rather turn vibrations off completely.

I haven't really played with an A33 yet at the shops but read online the vibration is slightly better. I know they're budget phones, but the A52s was exceptionally bad

Bought a new A53 during 7.7 sale.
Today after setup, found the wifi not stable with my home AX72 router even after updating the lastest update.
Very disappointed, spent money and unable to use a brand new phone.
Will bring down to SS center for repair.

I got my a73 from Shopee just 2 mths back - only $608 nia... damn worth it for a mid range phone. If not looking for a fantastic camera or flagship phone can certainly consider. Very snappy.
