I can deal with certain issues on a phone. But reception is something I will never compromise on. I was eating at a foodcourt with my friend, me using S20FE and he was with a P6Pro, he had 1 bar reception while I had full reception. Both of us on Singtel. How is this acceptable?
+1 reception is something i cant compromise on too as it is a BASIC FUNCTIONALITY of a phone which has to be done right.

Also the fingerprint scanner. I have encountered several occasions when i need to unlock my phone to check an email urgently and i am holding up the queue because the fp ALWAYS fail at the "CORRECT" timing. dont tell me i can always use the pincode if i have urgent needs to unlock my phone, i dont need that hassle to come into my life
P6 series the most jialat of all pixel. users still having so many issues 🙄
yea... i sold my p6 because of this after 2 weeks... lets hope p7 they can do it better

i do admit that other phones from other OEMs also have issues, but at least those issues aint that "glaring" affecting the reliability of the phone for day to day usage

The thing is i have no fp and recept issues on both p6 series. mine more on QA. google needs to iron out both h/w and s/w. relying on updates and sold halfbaked products will shrink their user base even more and lose market share

DId you sell it in the early days after launch or after recent updates but still failed to resolve the problems you had with the phone ?

Not sure. But leaks saying fp issue solved on p6a. Not sure about reception though
Yah...it is slighty faster than P6 in the youtube videos i have seen. But not as fast as the fastest fps sensors on the market.

I read the P6Pro using radio from Samsung Exynos? Is that the reason why the reception so spotty?
P6p 5g modem, and yeah - you’ve guessed it right - it’s made by samsung

First 4 months after launch quite buggy ba.. may June update onwards the experience got better.. didn't encounter patchy reception though. Gesture for multi-window still buggy.. wireless charging on 1st gen pixel stand also tends to overheat- lead to slow charge at times. :cautious:

I saw on some YouTube videos, you cannot even adjust the split screen windows size ? That's some real bug there when I can do that on my lowly pixel 4a.

Wow, seeing so many issues, u all really make me start to worry abt my P6 Pro arrival. I bought mine direct from Google U.S store during their recent US$200-off sales and opt for the 512gb variant. Stacked another US$100 rebate credit from my old pixel 2 purchase last time, reduced the final price to US$799 and on the way to me now. Please don't make me having second thoughts leh.
