Born in 90 now ish 32 yo. Parents of new borns now should be around that age or thereabouts. Why they want ICA to put back the dialect group???

Parents’ dialect will be included in digital birth certificates issued from Sep 1, the Immigration & Checkpoints Authority (ICA) said on Friday (Aug 12).

This comes after ICA received several queries regarding the non-inclusion of this information.

Really is what's the point behind this change? Mostly for those can speak only Mandarin n English. What dialect don't even know.

Go ACS or any secondary school and ask who knows how to speak dialect, not including body parts or vulgarities
