it is still bad as an itx case. with that kind of volume, it's barely sff. going with the nr200 basically nullifies the space savings (and the premium) u pay for itx parts, and hardcore itx owners would be looking at closer to 10l casings like the dan a4 or formd t1. u lose nothing going from the nr200 to the fusion, plus u save money with compatibility with cheaper parts, not to mention the fusion with tg can be had for half the price of the nr200p if u know where to look.

I was actually pleasantly surprised with the build quality of fusion when I built in it.

this i did not notice.
For me, I've used worst ITX case. So the NR200 is actually alright to work with, losing out to the Fusion mainly due to the ability to take in a MATX board. I actually ordered the Tecware Fusion, but cancelled it eventually.

You should consider this a feature coz u dont want ur kids playing ard your PC anyhow :ROFLMAO:
Lol. They always press the buttons on the PC, and I am fine with it. Just don't want them to trip and hit themselves on the sharp corners. Even the furniture at home, I've either put those foam to cover any sharp corners, or get the ID to design something without, like my TV console. Haha. Kids know no safety, so have to take precaution man.

Relax Brother.
USB4 not yet mainstream
Once USB4 becomes mainstream,
I am sure we will get more affordable External USB4 GPU Dock

No need so long.
Next year AMD 6000 series with USB4 will be mainstream.
I expect more affordable eGPU Dock to come out as well.

Currently also have the Barebone method using m.2 with extension cable and converter for external GPU.

ADT Link one around $50 without PSU.

Cannot hotplug for pcie m2 slot to eGPU
even Desktop with CPU with build in graphics and GPU cannot hotplug.
eGPU can hotplug with thunderbolt3/usb4

Asrock Deskmeet X300 and B660 are now available in Spore market. Distributed by Tech Dynamic. I can see postings in Carousell. Deskmeet can take in dedicated graphic up to 20cm in length. My friend bought Deskmeet X300 from China and he is very happy with the machine. He is now poisoning me to change my Deskmini A300.

I am not pulling the trigger because I think B660 is a better buy due to the pcie 4.0. But my existing CPU is Ryzen and I have to cough up more honey to get B660 plus components.

I finally pulled the trigger and bought the Deskmeet X300 from Lazada. Bought for $294.

Initially thought of buying B660 but it meant I needed to buy new CPU. Additional cost. Decided to buy X300 instead. Buying directly from Tech Dyanmic with 3 years warranty also gave me a peace of mind. This machine is to replace my Deskmini A300 that I too bought from them back then. I RMA the A300 with them last year and it was a breeze. Don't have to proof of purchase because they have the sales record in their system.

should come with 500w atx psu also.
Package comes with SFF case, mobo and atx psu.

Need to put in own CPU, ram, storage. Dedicated gpu and wifi card if need be.

If want complete set, can look for carousell sellers that sell the deskmeet. They can bundle it for you. I have everything from my existing A300 except ram (A300 uses laptop ram with X300 uses desktop ram). I have spare desktop ram lying around and thus can buy the deskmeet X300 with no additional component required. I use apu now. Maybe buy dgpu next time.

EDIT: The package included a wifi card. I was surprised. Not mentioned in the Lazada listing.

Do let us know how well it runs. I saw the barebone system but I was very skeptical about the airflow based on the airflow diagram on Asrock's page. Installing the GPU seems to block out the vents at the top.

Airflow definitely will not be great. I am currently not using GPU.

Coming from deskmini, the airflow in deskmeet will definitely be better. I have yet to hear my cpu fan spinning at high speed. I mainly use this machine as a 'farmer', surfing web and a bit of light gaming. I am definitely not pushing it to the limit. I like that it allows me to use a 3.5inch HDD. And the ability to put in a dgpu in the future. It does take up more space on my desktop (compared to deskmini). I am currently looking for a cheap dgpu itx card (single fan) so get a bit more FPS out of my game. If I want to farm max max, then I can put another 3.5inch HDD (then no dgpu liao). I just like the idea that I have more option with this baby.
