seems like they are gonna revamp how their mobile services on old plans and as per the website seems like they are going to remove quite a lot of old technologies or system or intergrated it into another part of the bundle making it more simplify.

I don't believe any good will come for existing customers.

M1 is a for-profit business,
there must be some sections where it will be detrimental for us during the conversion.

Is it a contract plan?

Currently my contract already expired.
I don't have any plan to go for new contract plan.
So what do they mean by upgrading my plan to bespoke contract plan?

It seems like they are going to give more data, maybe let us tweak our SMS/talktime. Hopefully, they can integrate data passport, give free data roaming just like SIMBA mobile. A lot of people who are travelling frequently will like the idea of free data roaming instead of paying extra,

Details are vague. FAQ does not provide much info too. This is why created this thread for discussions

Not everyone requires tis extra.
We can't even finish using our current.
And was hoping to downgrade.
Why forcing us to accept the contract.
Meaning we cannot change telco anymore?

Yeah agree. Would hope they would let us customise if we are in the midst of the contract. Currently have 50Gb, can't use finish. Perhaps a flexibility to get data passport VAS in place of 50GB data.

Bespoke Flexi/Contract/SIM Only requires M1 DP to data roam by default.

But no, it's non-waiveable charges.

The only plans that comes with free roaming is M1 Enterprise Mobile Plus (EM+) plans, but that's business mobile side, not personal.

Yes understand. But what I mean it will be good if they tweak all plans to come integrated data passport. I think it will attract lots of people, just like Simba which has 1GB roaming data
