I saw the "Current Crediting Rate" as 1.8% for a few days last week as well, both in Tiqconnect web portal and Tiq app.

Now it reverted back to 1.2% :(
Same... n i received a call yesterday from maybank trying to get me to switch from elastiq to their enrich endowment plan. But I need a flexible account with high liquidity for now so will still keep some of the initial premium for now.

So far isavvy matches the 1.8% but only for Sep.. but my guess is esaver will try to outdo this soon.

I also got the SMS.

I have 50K in ELASTIQ earning 1.8%, so from now till 30th September 2023 i will get 3.1% (1.8%+1.3%) ?

Eligible productsGuaranteed Loyalty Reward as a % of policy
account value on 30th September 2022
ELASTIQ1.30%
eSAVE advance1.30%
Enrich advance1.00%
GIGANTIQ1.80%

But.... the 1.8% in ELASTIQ only valid till 01 Jun 2023

I think it's a ploy to entice us to keep the funds with them. Purposely drag a few more months..

Was intending to withdraw a month back, decided to keep with them till it reaches 3 years next June. now deliberating if gonna keep all the way till Sep next year lol

Same, I think so too.

I have withdrew the top-up amount already, was planning to withdraw the remaining and buy Tbills.

addition 1.3 % pay ONLY on 1 Oct 2023 doesn't seem attractive at all.

you know by withdrawing the top-up amount, won't get the loyalty bonus after 3 years right? although it's only a miserly 0.5%..

I'm thinking if t-bills continue to go up above 3.5% I'm going to withdraw the whole elastiq with them ($80k)...

I still got eSave V with them also but that one's giving 2.68% so I'm still okay for now.

Yes, i know abt the miserly 0.5%

The topped up amount only 1.2%, that's why i withdrew and only keep the 50k (1.8%)

can I confirm that withdrawal has no fees involved? do you guys use PayNow or Direct Credit (to bank account)? any difference in terms of time taken to receive the funds?

How to close Elastiq?
Use their watapp to indicate u wan to close the account. They will ask u to confirm with the account #. Then they will sent u a email. Follow the email instructions and reply them. They will process and pay u back via paynow of posb/DBs debit. Depending on what u Indicated in the replied email.

How many days does it take between submitting the surrender request and collecting the money?
