Received the bonus interest today for the 1.8% invite, based on ADB, not incremental from July.

It seems SCB on and off sending these kind of interest rates to different customers based on ADB till next Mar? The rates are different though with the best one at 2.2%

Anybody knows whether I can link multi-currency account to this esaver?
Currently I have bonusaver account but I intend to close it. TIA

yep. pleasantly surprise got extra 150 bonus interest. can add fish to the cai png tonight. :LOL:

also like the fact they put there 1 out of 8. i think it relates to the 8 months commitment to pay the bonus.

same, also received 'EXCLUSIVE BONUS INTEREST PROMO INTEREST FOR AUG' yesterday... and it is the outstanding difference from what I had gotten on 31 July's 'BONUS INTEREST PAYMENT FOR THE PERIOD 2022-08-0'.

I think I understand how the exclusive promo rates work... it means the 1.75% (excluding basic 0.05%) is split into two payouts
- 1.45% based on incremental balance of Aug from July (amount $A) payable on 31 Aug
- 1.75% based on ADB of Aug - $A payable by 20th of Sep (in my case, 15 Sep)

In other words, total payout is 1.75% where one at end of month and another by 20th of following month.

not sure how it'll be like for Sep onwards... whether still split into two payouts or just one in the following month.

it will be the same (split into 2 credits) until the end of your invitation.

If open now for existing customers, is rhe account going to be activated immediately or need to wait a few days? Thinking if want to try or not

shld be immediate if u have any account with SCB.
the 2.2% is by invite only though, above post shared there's 2% for oct-nov
