i am also moving out of my 5g gomo don't fee like paying $25 for that in long term LOL

I rather you pay $25 for SIMBA SuperRoam Plan! At least it includes 10GB of roaming data bundle to 57 countries not to mentioned the generous 100GB of local data bundle! ;)

5G thingy is more for businesses for their bombastic marketing statements to its clients at the moment! Nothing fancy to the ordinally "wakie-takie" folks on the street! 🤭

Afterall, Wi-Fi is everywhere in Singapore! :ninja:

I'm pretty sure US works. My friend was there for summer exchange, went there for almost 2 months.
Just don't use T-Mobile. AT&T is ok.

Anyone here tested SIMBA 5G speed before? How is it?

Their 5G is currently limited to certain places.
Was around Blk 206 Bedok North St 1 and there is 5G connection there. Did a speedtest and the results as below:

Download = 43.2 Mbps
Upload = 11.0 Mbps

Yes! SIMBA partner in the US is AT&T. One has to select AT&T for roaming in the US.

It's stated in the official list.

Cingular Wireless (AT&T)AT&T/ 310410

Putting asides the slow speed shown in the Speedtest result which doesn't really affect the internet connections for normal apps usages.

The default SIMBA plan bundle for local and roaming data/sms/calls (includes activation of Auto Roaming by default) are very generous indeed if you are to compare the categories of Plan v Monthly fee side by side with other telcos.

Again! That's why I came back to SIMBA after merry-go-around different MVNOs. No one can beat SIMBA in that respect! :) (y)

I can't answer that.

I was with M1 for years (4G plan) before started using MVNOs.

To me, M1 network is quite solid. That was why I stick to M1 for so many years before MVNOs offered better value for money.

will you know exactly which timing etc :s11:
that one got the letters cmi inside i dont dare try ....:s13:

Port-in to SIMBA usually happens at 11PM whereby your current telco signal will be deactivated.

Depending on the batches. You may get your SIMBA signal as early as 1140pm that night or 4AM the latest in the following morning.

My last port-in from VIVIFI to SIMBA was likes this. All happened on the SAME DAY! :giggle:

1135 hrs: Signed-up to port-in my number to SIMBA online.
1300 hrs: Picked up my SIMBA sim and activated on the spot over the counter.
2300 hrs: VIVIFI sim lost signal (Port-out completed).
2340 hrs: SIMBA sim showed data and cell signals (Port-in completed).

Good morning all. Im looking for a sim-only cheap plan for my wife (both in our 60s) .
mainly requires outgoing call time, free incoming and sms as she still talks to her friend more than using the internet (10gb is more than enough). any cheap plans to recommend? thank you

I think you have posted on another thread and people already advise you.. Get a simba senior plan of you want $5
