Oh, your TnG eWallet is registered using passport & linked to RFID tag? Heard from many people that eWallet must register with NRIC to link with VEP? Thanks.
My ewallet is registered using passport, anyone manage to change it to NRIC?

I had one TnG eWallet account validated with passport ID. After wrote to TnG careline, got reply "Please be informed we have updated your passport and National ID details in our system. When you log into your account will be only able to view your passport details.".. Not sure if VEP tag will link up soon...

Guys, after adding the TNG card to the app, do we still need tap the card physically at custom to pay for toll or it will be deducted automatically? Also, can the balance in the card (added in the app) be used to pay for other services available in the app?

Used my SG NRIC to register for the eWallet account, after VEP RFID approved and activated by TSCENS, the VEP RFID tag did not appeared automatically in my eWallet. Thought due to eWallet account verification not completed yet, proceeded to verify eWallet account using passport ID (as requested by eWallet), after completed verification RFID still not linked. Emailed to TCSENS, let's wait for their update likely in 1-2 weeks..

it's not under TNG card, instead it's under RFID button, look for it see if you can see it. mine appeared there after activation of VEP tag, I didn't do the account verification on the app

Yes, i check under RFID button. i never say i check under TNG card also leh :)
I got my VEP tag activated, TnG eWallet registered with NRIC and verified with passport. Also wrote to TnG careline request update eWallet account with National ID. TnG replied that their system only display passport info in App even though they also updated NRIC info in system, also wrote to Tcsens to request.... After all these, VEP tag not linked to TnG eWallet... Give up already... Plan to attach VEP tag but pay with TnG card separately...

Haha, dun give up so easily yet. I happened to stay in Malaysia for few days last week, called TCSENS and they informed they have escalated the case to TnG eWallet team on 31-Oct (Sat and Sun TnG eWallet team not working) and eWallet team will email me directly once there's any an update, today is day 2, let's see how many days it take...

In short, call TCSENS instead of email, the issue will never resolved if using email only..cos they take like forever to reply emails due to heavy load accordingly to the guy i spoke to.

I sold old car. How to de-register the old VEP sticker so ownership isnt linked to me in JPJ website (can't do online, always error)? Previously I saw online that people can go to the NS highway toll booth that do VEP sticker installation to de-register, but it seems now only two option to get the new VEP sticker: (i) courier or (ii) go to TCSENS @ Danga Bay. Are those VEP station around the NS highway toll booth still there? Can I do the un-linking at TCSENS @ Danga Bay?

[EDIT on 26 Nov wrt. de-register sold car VEP] I received guidance from both JPJ and TCSENS to reach out to the following email (aduanvep@jpj.gov.my) to de-register / de-link old vehicle, so this is useful info for others in same situation. No need to do in person. Documents they requested:
1) NRIC card as per registered in the VEP Portal (front and back)
2) Vehicle Registration document issued by LTA
3) Notification on Transfer of Ownership issued by LTA
4) Notification of Changing Vehicle Registration Number (if any)

[Edit on 6 Dec wrt. de-register sold car VEP] Not bad quite efficient, the sold car VEP dereg was settled through email within 2 weeks of providing the requested info. But still cant un-link the deregistered RFID to the TNG e-wallet.

For my new vehicle, I have done the VEP application already. Courier the VEP sticker to SG is around RM 55. Anyone know if self-collect from TCSENS @ Danga Bay how much is the all in cost? After stick the VEP sticker, how will they link the RFID to existing TNG e-wallet?

Thanks.
