Fit aside, SFF cases + high powered GPUs are do-able but the temps suffer too much compared to a mid-sized high air flow-focused case, especially in SG weather

Loaded in my 4090 FE, seems like I got a good copy. 3090mhz effective throughout the run. Easily went over 40K in TS.

In heavy RTX titles, the card definitely pulls a lot of power @ 420w+ , but temps on it is pretty impressive since it's on air still. 27C ambient, AC set at 25C. 3440x1440p maxed out ultra settings. DLSS set to quality.

On titles that are easy to run and goes past my AW3423DW 175hz refresh rate, i cap the games to 175fps. This is spiderman miles morales. 3440x1440 maxed out settings, dlss set to quality, frame gen turned on. Pulls a measly 220w.

The FE is extremely quiet at stock fan settings, barely going past 1100rpm on the fans. Overall am quite happy with the FE, and a SF750 drives an OCed 12900k+4090 without issues for those that are wondering.

Very nice results! Congrats on the card!

Do you intend to do a CPU + GPU simultaneous stress test to see whether the SF750 holds up.. something like prime + timespy extreme? I have the same PSU and wondering about my upgrade options.

thank you!

& no i won't do both cpu and gpu combined because that's a bit stupid; i don't have any real world use where both cpu and gpu is pegged to 100%. Also because probably then it might trip because my CPU at full tune can draw like 350w and the 4090 can definitely go over 400w. For daily use SF750 is more than enough.

i am not sure will RTX 4000 seria card will drop price or not

i had get a ips monitor support 165hz

Just curious if POE is that GPU intensive to begin with? I am asking because I played POE quite a lot of years back. Though I know they made changes to the game over the years, but I believe the underlying game engine is quite dated. But to the point of needing a 3080/ 3090 to get to 165 FPS to match the 165Hz monitor may be overkill?

I see real gamers test the game and it eats a lot of GPU. From the reading, my estimation is running @ 144hz should need a good CPU too.

Finally got my card ready and manage to do some tests run today to bench how much this card can go using 3dmark time spy extreme.

Pretty satisfied but the score a I didn't manage to get a top yield to score higher. I think galax card is really a good buy.
