Hmmm... For the first update I side loaded and it downloaded the update. The latest update I updated from play store.

3.14 available with seven EQ presets .there's default (wherein everything is flat), heavy bass, light bass, balanced, vocal boost, clarity, and last-saved. to save a custom preset, tap the gear icon. you can choose a preset here as a starting point, if you want, and adjust things from there. or you can just go hog wild on the sliders on your own. after you've adjusted the five EQ bands — upper treble, treble, mid, bass, and low bass — however you like, scroll down below Low bass and tap Save

Can't really use it on Bus/MRT. You will hear the high pitch engine noise/screeching sound making listening really uncomfortable.

Don't know why some YouTubers can still say not too bad for their NC. Now I'm doubting most of people's review.
