can share what do you mean by performance is degrading? like what do you experiencing that you feel that way?

If you change to new battery, it will definitely help with battery life.

Battery health below 80%, there will be performance throttling.
changing the battery should help

tbh the cost is much cheaper nowadays. i will say for such power stuff best go for original

Good to hear! Take some time to housekeep your phone, then sync your phone to your computer and make a local backup!

Seems that iPhone X software update will only be supported for another year… given that iPhone 7 support already stopped this year

may not be worth investing another $99 for battery change, maybe can consider getting a used 11
