depends on your risk appetite...

for small amount maybe can just whack.

but big amount, maybe test with a small amount first then top up the rest
Small amounts okay lah. At most just take 1-2 weeks to spend it at hawker or those small shops. If $3k stuck inside (eg topup for income tax payment but AXS nerfed), then the typical spending amount at small stalls really means will take a long time to clear….

then what is the best way to do it? break down in multiple payment?

my next payment is hdb parking in 2 weeks time.

Just tried recently using UOB Amex > GPMC to pay hdb season parking.

1) Error via HDB portal (some banking thingy)
2) Successful using AXS mobile app with GPMC

thanks for sharing. looks like no more use case for grab since shopback is so prevalent now.

now that GPMC is nerfed, anyone knows if there's any cashback hacks for topping up ezlink card? I'm using ezlink for ERP and carpark payments.

Just Google:
1.
You may top up your NETS FlashPay Card at any of the following locations:
  1. NETS App via Google Play Store or Apple App Store*
  2. NETS Customer Service Centre.
  3. NETS Top Up Machines.
  4. Add Value Machine Plus (AVM+)
  5. General Ticketing Machines (GTM)
  6. Local bank ATMs (DBS/POSB, OCBC and UOB)
  7. 7-Eleven stores*
  8. Buzz Pods*

2.
Did you know that there are several ways to pay your monthly Service and Conservancy Charges ( S&CC), many of which are digital? While some of them require a physical trip to the payment kiosks such as AXS and S.A.M. machines, others can be made from the convenience of your home at any time of the day. These include Paylah and Paynow apps, Internet Banking, and GIRO that allow HDB residents to make the payment without any hassle since they can be done from within your homes using a computer or mobile device, and are completely safe and secure.
