Condos mainly. HDB I think will find alternative accommodations for tenants.

It is suggested that HDB does have comprehensive insurance that covers bulk assets againt disaster scenarios like aircraft impact or major landslides. This would likely handle temporary housing for affectes parties in such an event. Bulk assets here refer to structure and associated infrastructure, not tenants’ possessions.

US condo owners might be headed for real deep feces. Imagine being on the legal hook for potentially millions of dollars of legal liability for repairs and heavy maintenance.

From what I read, waterproofing failed on the pool deck. Prolonged water infiltration and sea salt caused the slab to fail. Slab which supports the garage and the collapsed tower.
