Im nt sure how bad your gums are, but if it's as serious as you described, better stay local.
Jb more for less serious issues

@orpisia for your advise too
I am not really the proper person to seek advice from

All I have are bad dental experiences, that's for sure

Has CH TEE dental expanded with more dentists or no one's going ? 😅

Texted them and was surprised to know that we don't have to make appointment, just walk in... First time I'm hearing dental no need appointment......🤓

The clinic doesn't take appointments except for ongoing treatments.

Initially I too was feeling inconvenience but then I spoke to my ex classmate who is a dentist & he said this:
The advantage of group practice is having dentists who are good in a particular field of treatment and being assigned accordingly is certainly good for the patient!

I understood what he was saying...

If a clinic has a mix of newly hired & experience dentists, it is better to regulate the traffic.

"Oh...6 monthly checkup? No other issue right? Let's see ... Maybe Dr Teng,... he's friendly & bubbly....& good looking too 😉"

"Pain huh?...I think Dr Ramakrishnan is good at that. He's our expert in pain trauma...you won't feel a thing."

So Dental CH Tee assigns the best available dentists for the patients' needs/urgencies instead of an appointment.

@hwsstx are you related to the clinic in anyway?

do share your experience here if and when you do pay them a visit.
I was wondering when someone would think that I've some relations to the clinic.

No, I don't have any relations with the clinic besides being a patient.

My last visit, & you can search this thread for my other consultations.
Yesterday at Dental Clinic CH Tee, Taman Sentosa, did Scaling & Polishing for RM 100.

Grab from JB Sentral Main Entrance to the Clinic at 8.26am is RM 14.

Consolidated my experience here: https://forums.hardwarezone.com.sg/threads/5680815/post-110023195
Probably going again in January for my biannual consultation.

planning to do a root canal for my top molar tooth. A few days ago, went to my neighbourhood dental clinic as my tooth is getting pain. She advised getting a root canal or extraction. Now I am considering, getting an appointment at the clinic suggested by you guys. Hopefully, next week can get it done. I have never done root canal treatment. Hopefully, the current 2022 prices are reasonable and good.

There's nothing to it - it is definitely not work. I thought while updating this thread, I will also learn a few things about handling forums etc besides keeping members informed.

I've nothing to gain, it is just something personal I thought of picking up to do.

@reddevil0728 so i visited CH Tee and did cleaning for 120 ringgit. The dentist was very careful and delicate when doing the cleaning. My only grievance is that when they do the cleaning, the cut-out that they use to cover the eyes, forehead and chin is flimsy (the assistant should use some initiative to reposition the cut-out la haiyo) and my face was covered with the water mixed with the gunk that was in my mouth from the teeth that richocet out from my mouth and some of it dripped down my neck  It cost about 22 ringgit back and forth from CIQ via Grab. I was tempted to tell the aunty at the reception downstairs about @hwsstx existence and his continued display of bachelor of social service by marketing the clinic on this forum but my teeth hurt slightly after the cleaning so I thought give it a rest. Maybe next time k?

Anyone has issues with teeth gaps widening as you age? ie During younger days, no gaps in between but as you grow older and hit 40s, gaps are widening and thus food bits get stuck more often.

What is the procedure/solution for this anyone know? Braces?
