For one or two person viewing, especially in a dark room (e.g. night-time viewing), I'd go for TCL C635 - VA panel with higher contrast, and likely 120Hz gaming (50" model seems to be 60Hz though) and sports (fast pixel response times). Will not very bright in bright room with only 330 nits. OS is Google TV. Best you confirm with seller (coz specs page is contradictory).

For 3 or more family members viewing, especially in bright room (e.g. bright room with windows or lighting), I'd go for Hisense U6H - likely wide-angle IPS panel with high peak brightness of 600 nits and 32 FALD zones, but limited to 60Hz gaming and slow pixel response times (bad for sports). OS is VIDAA U5. Best you confirm TV panel type with Hisense (coz specs page missing information).

The 65" 85k was going for 1.6k last Dec, see the price thread.
When an offer comes, seize it.

Buy when you need and don’t look back
If you can buy it at a low it’s good but it’s not something you can store
If you need it now just get it and try to get it at a low
It takes some bargaining skill to negotiate a good deal
Use the price thread as a guideline but it’s ok to pay more if it meets your needs
Not everyone will catch it at the lowest

Guess have to wait for offer again.
Price will be likely to increase in the near future.

The GST increase really makes seller sit down, re-think and increase their prices. Next year GST 9% will see another round of increase.

I think next year, we will see McD and KFC reach $10+ per value meal. And all the other fast food restaurants will follow suit.
