repeat here for the folks who didnt see.

i think Care+ is a stupid deal.

Assume S23U screen repair is $400,
and today you buy insurance for $100.
If you end up cracking your display, you pay another $200. Which makes your net payment $300.
If you didnt buy insurance, you pay $400 when you go repair.

So, you spend $100 today, to gamble on a potential $100 savings in the future.
The risk:reward is 1:1. Don't make sense to me.

Only way you 'profit' is you crack ur screen 2 times la.

the risk to reward has to make more sense mah.
life insurance you pay $2000 a year to insure 6, 7 digits payout.
For a phone, the ratio should maybe be around 1:10?
If today $10 get samsung care+, den if crack pay $200 to change.
i think more people will buy the care+

i won't lie. your argument gives me a lot to think about.

esp if s24 is as good and i can get 1tb model easily/cheaply (i only had 512gb to pick this time), i will consider switching.
