If you check the heya website, the 100GB promo is for every month until further notice,

https://www.heya.sg

Think Singtel is using heya to compete against SIMBA 100GB @ $10, although SIMBA has roaming which heya doesnt have.

Compared with when it first started, I think Heya now got more users. When I do speed test, it is not at always the maximum speed.

Heya.SG max speed is around 122 / 21 using speedtest.net
When there are more users, the speedtest.net will return lower values or struggle to reach those speed.
Typical speed can be around 90 / 15

Just get one and try if it is suitable for the locations you frequent.
Actually the app is a bit redundant, every time I check, I have to login by keying in the number and receive an SMS OTP. I feel no point checking the balance because if finish the 50/100 GB, the data will just stop and need to buy another plan - no chance of paying for extra data.
But in itself, this is a bit of con because there is no automated buying of the data plan monthly - have to either top-up credit and manually self-buy or go thru online via Shopee/Lazada. If still have data and miss the 30 day buying of the data plan, the data will not be rolled over.

The 100 gb is for one month? Or can carry forward to subsequent month (s)?
IMHO.
Every 30 days must spend $10 to buy the data plan - if not, the remaining data will not be carried forward.
The maximum is 200GB.

I actually don't use much data. I've been making do with just 2 gb on my Singtel postpaid .
But something happened recently, and I've overshot. Strangely , in just a couple of days, usage was more than 1 gb although I was home almost all the time , and on WiFi. Only sent one WA when I was out for short walk.
So I wanna try one of these Sim only plans on my spare phone . If good , I can port over my line to another Sim only plan of her same .
Then cancel the first Sim only.
I'll get more data , and pay slightly less every month too

Could be update of software of the mobile phone?
Important is to try out if Heya will work for you.
Every month because of the rollover of data, I am at the maximum limit.
Now I am almost mostly on data instead of WiFi even at home.
I think I average around maybe 40GB per month.

AFAIK, it is not normal. Perhaps you can feedback to Heya on their FB and ask them which shop doesn't do that ? I went to one shop in Geylang and Hougang, both also charge me the $10 flat.
Yep, had already feedback on this overcharging and ripping off issue to heya. There is even one shop which blatantly wants to charge another 10 bucks to do port in above and beyond $5 for sim card and $10 for mobile plan signup. Basically none of the 5 shops I checked with will settle for $10 flat. Didn't expect a pure mobile plan sign up could end up like machiam wet market haggling. Apparently this heya is losing control over their so called "partners".

Guess what their official email response to my complaint is? freaking copy and paste template reply which chose to overlook my complaint demonstrating they simply don't care if potential customers are getting rip off. Told me to just choose a shop from their pdf list. lol... with this kind of customer service, who knows if they still be around a year from now. definitely avoiding this one until their mgmt can get their acts together.

Don’t think they will change. After all this is a side huddle with minimal gains for them.
They’re here just to show that they’ve $10 plans too, just to compete with Simba directly.

if you want proper CS, you’ve to go straight to Big Three, not sub brands or MVNO. If not just get ready to do the porting game (and biting the loss) if things doesn’t work out for you.

I don’t like having to go down to a “partner” shop where a middle man employee handles your IC and details, who knows which black sheep will make as extra copy for his space card sideline.

Hmm, you need to port to a non-Singtel MNO or MVNO before port to Heya.

For my wife's line, it was previously under Zero1, so I have to port to M1 Maxx before port to Heya.

This issue unlikely to have solution. I ever wonder how much the shop will earn selling the $10 Heya and from the $10 top-up. Now, top-up can be done online even.

Actually I suspect it might be fairly profitable, especially since Heya’s target audience might not speak English as a first language or be tech savvy, so they might just pay up at a physical shop to get it done.

Yes, you can top up $30 to $60 of credit in wallet. However you will still need to pay in the apps or via SMS on the last day of the plan inorder to get the roll over benefits.
