I went to Sony shop and enquire about ps5. They told me waiting time is 12 months. Disc version with 1 standard controller is $799. For those who can't wait. Can get the official Sony sg set at lazada for $859 ++.
walk-in to any local game store to buy. no need to wait.

Interested but no demo set to try yet.
While waiting for the demo set can check out youtube reviews from Digital Foundry etc.

Just like its predecessor, can function as a big virtual cinema screen if you don't have a big TV at home or no 120Hz refresh etc.

Managed to fill around 4TB of PS4 games on the WD Black 5TB USB drive.

Not sure is it the size over 4TB or having too many installed games, when I go to the PS5's system storage details page it sometimes show the USB extended storage as no drive attached, even though I can see the games in my installed library and run them without problems.

The 5TB external drive barely holds all my PS4 digital games, as I did not install those multiplayer online games and non-single player games from PS+ cause I mostly don't play them. Plus I still have the physical games which need installing into the drive if I wanted to play them. My internal 2TB SSD had around 1TB free.

I think the best storage combo right now is a 4TB M.2 SSD plus a 5TB USB drive, but the former is still very expensive.

Actually I already checked almost all the reviews in youtube these few days.

Yeah I think it takes quite a while for the system to scan through the files, when I first encountered it I though my drive was faulty. They should at least show msg like "scanning games, pls wait" instead of straight up show text indicating no drive attached.

I bought 3 of the Samsung T7 external 2TB SSDs 2 weeks back for below $200 each but didn't use for the PS5 as size too small to hold my PS4 games.
