Just a while ago, I was trying to place an online order.
Unfortunately, it could not checkout because I cannot receive the OTP due to low mobile data signals.
Eventually after several attempts, I then managed to confirmed the online order.
Wa biang! this is quite tiring and furthermore it is just the starting of my subscribership.

Well, already subscribed and ported-in to Simba, furthermore it is only the beginning.
Even if I want to port out will still have to wait for 2 months.
The plan which I have chosen is with recurring payment every 90 days.

I ported out after exactly 31 days to avoid triggering the activation fee, the 2nd month subscription I just give them free. Buay tahan the lack of coverage in places I frequent.

When there’s a signal, the speeds are fine for most part, but when there’s totally no signal in not that ulu places..omgwtfbbq

But mine is the 90 days recurring payment, so exactly when can I start to port out?
I do not mind losing the next few weeks or months.
Just want to have a peace of mind with reliable mobile data signals for usage.
Can share where you ported out to? Thanks.

I don't think the 90 days recurring really affects when you can port out, since they are doing it to lock in 3 months of payment from you so even if you leave early, they've got your money already. It's not like a telco contract.

The earliest you can port out is 30 days past your activation date. I just ported out to one of the many Singtel mvnos. Can't go wrong with either red or green for coverage. Simba is probably best as a backup, non essential line.

Giga's roaming data upon activation is up to 5 days.
I ported over to Simba is because of their roaming data which is monthly renewal.

Any idea which MVNO has roaming data that upon activation can last for more than a week?

As permanently part of the plan allowance and not a temp promo?
Changi Mobile Flexi Travel $20 and CMlink $20.80 plan. But just a handful of locations only.
Simba is still best for lowest cost roaming, sign up for a senior $5 plan and keep that as a spare line.

Tbh, I have never look up info on CMF and CMlink packages.
Anyway, with limited locations may not be preferable.
At this point of time, one primary line would be more than sufficient for me.

I know Simba's senior plan has 20GB local + 1GB roaming at $5 p/mth seems attractive.

I think so can deduct from our registered CC without topping up the SIMBA Wallet.

The Pay-Per-use's fees should be accumulative and not interactive. So, I don't see why cannot use CC even if the Wallet is zero!

Anyway, I haven't double checked with the customer services yet.

Recurring payment in this case is referring to payment by credit card.

In short, need to top up wallet for roaming data.

That means after the free 1GB roaming has been used up, any excess data roaming usage charges will be via the account wallet even if the bill is under recurring card payment.

Yup, that's what the staff from Simba wrote in the email reply to me.

Okay! Got it!

I will just top up and keep a $10 in the Wallet for pay-per-use data and calls usages at the initial stage. Afterall, the Wallet can be topped up anytime even while in overseas via wiFi /hotspot from other mobile too!

post paid .. top up wallet is your choice can be use for re-occurrence monthly charges if you didnt enter a CC

Another easy way to top up is via topup.simba.sg (Can use PayNow / GrabPay / GooglePay / Debit or Credit Card) , unless you're using Shopee for the coin cashback haha.
