Actually my sister is the single while I have kids. Does sound like she’s the one with family from my post. Lol! The milk powder was for my mother.
Shop at Giant using One card lor. (got additional rebates)
Surely at least $300-400 groceries a month for a family?

The rest just spend on restaurant treats during weekends. Gao dim!

Will check that out. Thanks!

No SP, HP, broadband bills ? These can pay extra in advance (SP at Toa Payoh customer service, Telco using their app)

Get the NTUC gift card and top up whatever you cannot spend. They now have a e-giftcard but I prefer the physical card because can pass to other people and the expiry date gets extended whenever you topup.

Can slowly spend at ntuc supermarket and unity

From 01 Dec 2022, if you spend min. $500 on eligible CC spend and credit your salary, and has $100k in UOB one acct, the bonus interest per month should be :

28 days in the month = $379.91
29 days in the month = $393.48
30 days in the month = $407.05
31 days in the month = $420.62

Bonus interest is in!
Bonus interest for March 2023 should be in either tomorrow or Tuesday ....

Does Paywave not count towards the spending? I bought some clothes at Uniqlo and it doesn’t have Paynow. Only Paywave. But the spending bar hasn’t moved although the amount has been debited.

I also paid via StarHub app for my phone bill using the card number. Amount has also been debited but the spending bar also hasn’t moved.

Should have put all into isavvy. Wasted one month of interest.
where to see the spending bar?

very wrong perception on singles cannot spend more than family person..
In fact singles spend even more. Why? They no need feed anyone so all earned monies is to pamper,feed ownself for their hard earned monies. Imagine no kids that is alot monies saved just for e.g

Anyone missed the salary credit due to the disruption of DBS bank? Can write in to UOB to appeal?

Those who participated in Jan 2023, earmark in Feb, end of earmark 16 May 2023
Those earmark in Mar 2023, end of earmark 16 Jun 2023
Do we need to do anything when it reaches the end of earmark? Or it will be 'transferred' back to the savings account automatically?

insurance premium usually not counted as qualified spend. if their MCC is 6300, as stated on their T&C, not counted. I never try before but no harm trying it for 1 payment and check the activity tracker for outcome?

Read HWZ Forum Rules!
clocking for uob one account $500 spending and uob one cc rebate is 2 different tncs.

for clocking uob one account $500 spending, there is no exclusion for insurance or MCC 6300 from what i see from the tncs for uob one account.

you can compare both tncs.

even uob one account website says insurance qualify.

Eligible Card spend transactions are based on the following
  • Eligible Visa/MasterCard local and foreign retail transactions subjected to the exclusions mentioned below;
  • Insurance payments made on a recurring basis on selected credit or debit cards;
  • Total posted retail transactions by the selected Credit Card(s) principal and supplementary holder plus any spending on the selected Debit card(s); and
  • Transactions posted within a CALENDAR month

full tncs below
