I started at WP. I had a good SA who is a watch enthusiast himself and was upfront about the bundle requirements (mix of Tudor and Rolex). You basically agree a package deal then they procure the watches for you (and they come very quickly!). Contrary to popular belief, they are willing to bundle Tudor sports watches towards a Rolex SS allocation but overall spend may be higher. Long term wise, the WP journey is not sustainable as they only carry two brands. (P.S. you don't need to PLP there, they just need to know you're not a flipper and have money to spend lol.)What abt WP? Heard some say they bundle but shitter Tudors?
Ohh how quickly? They told me Tudor sports not countedI started at WP. I had a good SA who is a watch enthusiast himself and was upfront about the bundle requirements (mix of Tudor and Rolex). Yucksin general Tudor sports model not counted with the full yellow gold BB as the only exception
Got to specify that my statement is talking about KHH in general. I do not know what policies WP have. KHH will always try their best to sell the classic Tudors. Their sports Tudors is meant for regulars who aren’t really looking into using that as profile building for RolexYucks
Oh I see. I thought u meant WP. For WP, heard someone bought a bb58 after placing deposit and waiting 6 months. But that didn’t count towards profile and bundling at allGot to specify that my statement is talking about KHH in general. I do not know what policies WP have. Yes they do, but the line is blurred between total spending and how much spent towards the next allocation.Do ADs take overall spending into account when allocating watches like batman?
I gotten one sport model previously after some spending (a few watches), and when I enquired on the batman, AD said maybe need get 1 more piece of non sports model/other brands before I can try for the batman.
Seems like they reset once you have been allocated a sports model.
Your conclusions is correct. There is two types of spending, one is direct spending to qualify for an allocation and the other type is overall accumulated spending, sports models included. The accumulated spending on sports models doesn’t lead to a direct allocation but it helps to build profile of the customer relationship which will go in some way towards future allocations becoming slightly easier. Eg if you have gotten some unpopular models for an allocation but also gotten sports models as allocation, then in your next purchase to get an allocation, you maybe able to get amother allocation just by buying a slightly cheaper watch of other brands and / or also resulting in a shorter wait for that next allocation.Yes they do, but the line is blurred between total spending and how much spent towards the next allocation.
As you accumulate, the bar towards your future allocations becomes slightly easier. So if you have a decent relationship with your SA at a certain AD it would be good idea to continue with said SA.
Yeah, people often overlook that. I'm pretty sure many here have experienced how it becomes slightly easier and cheaper to "bundle" for stuff you want as long as it is within the AD's control to allocate. eg. Rolexes and even basic RO for AP.Your conclusions is correct. Thanks for explaining here, I have been thinking how to explain on this to create the awareness that getting sports models does count in some way towards the relationship building with the AD
Relatively quickly. Well, my last offer was 2 TT DJ, 1 BB Chrono and 1 Tudor Classic for 1 Starbux and 1 TT Daytona (he called it "White Panda" lol). I didn't go for it as I had come to realise the WP journey is not sustainable, for me. My SA was honest with me and said it is always going to be a bundle thing at WP.Ohh how quickly?
