so i went to ch tee to seek a second appointment for my tooth..

i was expecting a long Q as advised in this forum, but when i reached at 8.47am, the shutter was still closed and i was the first in Q

Once shutter opened, i registered and was surprised to be called within 10 mins, as i was preparing myself to wait at least 1 hr to 1.5 hours

opinion on dentist : very honest , didn't push for sales or gimmicks

the only thing which was bizarre to me was their super ol' school way of taking X-Rays...i've taken X-Rays at polyclinic, NUH Dental, private clinics in SG and JB, but ch tee way of taking X-Rays is really like 70s or 80s.

total damage RM200, somewhat same as SG polyclinic price - but i think its worth considering the express service.

will i return? yes for simple stuffs, i dont think i'll be here to do major stuffs

Anyone has experience with Root Canal and Crown Treatment at CH Tee?

I am wondering if its worth it doing there as I understand the cost savings to be significant as compared to SG but at the same time, I read here that its better to only get minor things (maybe cleaning and polishing) done at JB.

After reading this thread, paid a walk in visit to CH Tee last Monday. Reached there in the afternoon, waited about 20mins to see the Dr. Dr was a young guy(forgotten to see his name tag), very gentle and professional did not feel pain or discomfort throughout. Did an extraction, x-ray and cleaning+polishing for 370rm, used youtrip to pay and the after conversion was S$110+. Experience was beyond my expectations 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Finished my root canal and crowning. Total damage 1900rm. Saved almost 800-1k sgd. Made a total of 4 visits. The queue and jam at the customs during this holiday period is a biatch...

If one wants privacy, state of art equipment, and one on one attention and dedication, this is not the place for you. Strictly a no frills clinic for the masses.
One of my crowns cracked (done in sg 10+ years ago) so paid CH Tee a visit again after 6 years.

Was charged rm1040 for crown and x-ray. 2nd visit 3 weeks later. Not much has changed. Again, to those used to the lavish comfort and attention in pte clinics in sg, then this clinic not for them.

Noticed that they charged rm800 back in 2017 in one of the posts here. So a rm200 increase.

Someone recommended this clinic, E&E dental clinic. Noticed that the price is quite comparable to CH Tee. Looks newer also. You guys can go check it out.
