Precisely. But so long as they can fix and rectify the issue, I have no qualms about it. But it will make me think twice about buying new product from them in future.

For 5G I'm on circles.life 5G, but don't seem to get 5G network on the Honor M5P or Oppo X6P.

Can someone please confirm for me:
1. Can you install custom launcher (eg Nova) on this phone/MagicOS?
2. If not, in the home screen can you swipe down from anywhere to show notification panel (or does it open a search function)

Saw other reviews say that this is a inconvenience, would appreciate if someone can confirm if true. Thanks!!

1. Dont use custom launchers since I actually like EMUI/MagicOS, but since this is just normal android, should be compatible?
2. Swiping down from the top is notification, anywhere else is Honor Search which can be disabled.

so what is the best of the rest? other than pixel 7 pro, ip14 and s23

honor > oppo?
or xiaomi / zte / op11? which flagship with sd8 gen 2

honestly for 1.3-1.5k budget, i think safer to buy sth with gms and local warranty...
