The new app there tend to be a few hours lag for transactions. Incoming funds don't appear immediately in the history, even though it is reflected in the balance.

Anyone facing similar issues?
You are not alone. Very earlier I posted sometimes bank backside itchy go do revamp. If it ain't broke why fix it? Create jobs for PM,developers ? Haha

I am ok with banks doing revamp. But at least do proper testing. SC just roll out revamped app live with a lot of issues, many of which are fundamental. 🤬

I called them yesterday regarding this. Not able to see the interest and bonus interest reflected in my mobile app and I got the most nonchalant reply. The cso told me that I could see it via estatement and he din even mention it as an alternative way. When I reinforced to him that the mobile app should reflect the most updated info and that’s basic, he still insisted and gave me the impression that he couldn’t be bothered and he had given me the answer and case closed. Till I probed further, he said the IT was looking at it.

Terrible customer service. They just skirt round the issue without addressing it. As if we are dumb and we are disturbing them with app issues :s11:

par for course in Singapore unfortunately.

The only country where i have experienced exceptional customer service at a general country-wide level is Japan.

As IT developer I can share sometimes it is deadlines and the quality of testers, developers. Banks should have enough monies to feed a team of quality testers, developers but I guess they prefer the mass public customers as testers for them instead. Instant feedback via on the ground experience I guess.

Then they should have a soft launch and not full bang launch.

Unbelievable.

If you are born and grow up in Spore you need to know social status standing is important. In real life what is your profession and how much you have placed with them etc etc. To the CSO we are just one of the customers for which they need to reply to get their monthly paycheck. I know some banks impose a rating system after every call. Maybe not happy take down CSO name and file an official feedback (that is if they read the feedback) else just swallow your grievances and move on. Worst is close account don't be their customer they not scare lose you one customer also.

Ya look like intermittent problem and it is not acceptable. Sometimes the transaction was reflected immediately and sometimes not.
You only need to swipe down on the screen to refresh it. Except for the interest credited, all transactions will be updated.

SCB will pay/calculate interest based on VALUE DATE.

So whatever SCB listed as the VALUE DATE is what you should be using for your calculations.

As long as it does not impact transactions, no one gives a damn. Even MAS does not mind that…

Either take it or leave it.

The bank has better things for the developers to work on…

Feedback in the mobile app. After you logout from your mobile app, you will see a page “Will you recommend SC Mobile App to a friend?”. I clicked the “Not at all” and feedback what I think of this new update. Hopefully they will look into this and do something. I supposed if more feedback, it will have more effect.

I have never noticed this feedback thingy though I have already visited this app at least once a day. Thanks for reminding me. Just select “not at all”.

If anyone have the same situation as me.

I am entitled based on 3.75% p.a. on the first S$5mil of e$aver account Average Daily Balance (ADB).

For period 01Apr-30Apr23.
The Bonus Interest what i get on 29th April is way lower than previous month (Period of Mar23).
I didn't withdraw any amount on Full Apr23.

Understand there is another Exclusive Bonus interest somewhere on 20th May 23. I am not sure if there will add on this together.

Did text CS and RM, they cant even answer my question.
