Dash used to work but I m not sure if it still does now
It should, it still gets regularly released in the Huawei app store whenever there's an update in the Google play store, though sometimes it might be 1 version behind

Thanks. One thing I noted , it's better to stick to the app versions recommended by the Huawei gallery as some of the newer android builds from apkpure/aurora sometimes do not work with emui (eg. OneDrive). Also some apps are diff like parking sg and grab which uses petal maps instead for the Huawei version . The other android versions use Google maps instead

Better stick to AppGallery or other alternative apps unless you can't live without that particular app.

The Huawei P60 Pro and Huawei Mate X3 are officially available from 20 May 2023 at the following prices:
  • Huawei P60 Pro: S$1,548
  • Huawei Mate X3: S$2,598

They can be found at Huawei Experience Stores (313@Somerset, Westgate), telcos (StarHub, with M1 only carrying P60 Pro), and other electronic retailers (Best Denki, Challenger, Courts, Gain City, MetaPod, SprintCass).

They are also available online via Lazada and Shopee.

Customers can pre-order between 11 to 19 May 2023 at Huawei Experience Stores or Lazada. Doing so nets the customer multiple free gifts worth up to S$366, while stocks last.

These are crazy prices for older and limited hardware and no GMS.
Older chipset is again due to usa shenenigens but other hardware ain't older . Kunlun glass, 120hz refresh rate. Water proofing , fold flat with wireless charging and thinner than most foldables on rne market. Looks top tier hardware to me . As for gms, not everyone needs it and I guess those we even on this thread already can live without it

Yeah probably for the Mate X3 the hardware is worth the price, but P60 Pro has a lot of competition and for their asking price I think it's a bit too much.

Yesterday went down to preview the P60 and Mate X3, the camera on the P60 was amazing and can zoom still very close with sharp image taken, the design of the rear camera module is cute which looks like the cute bear face and rear casing is very nice.

Mate X3 is still using the Gen 1 Qualcomm chipset and only 4G Networks available, the firmware is Global so no issue to use with Local apps including banking apps etc.

Guess will skip this model for the mean time.

wow.. you preordered it. i went down to have a look and i do agree on the front screen, the thickness and the size.. crease line is not very visible. (maybe it is new).

i think this is the nicest foldable phone available and touchable in SG. (no idea how oppo, xiaomi, vivio etc as there no actual set to demo and no global version).
put side by side with Sony xperia IV, and it is even shorter and look about the same size as the sony (with case) .

hard decision to replace it over mate20x. argh

Yah, for me it's easy decision. I ready use the matexs series before and since I have been using hw as primary mainly, I m used to it's emui and how to work around gms. So for me, really not much to be concerned about plus 2 year warranty and Kunlun glass, wireless and waterproof foldable. Significant upgrade over matexs2

actually honor magic vs also quite good looking. there is almost no gap when it's folded.

5G and GMS for those who are constantly worrying about it.

https://m.gsmarena.com/compare.php3?&idPhone2=12186&idPhone1=11991
if i remember correctly, the price is 5800++ RM

unfold magic vs is 0.8mm thicker, fold magic vs is 1.1mm thicker

I just retired my HK Mate 20X 5G with Mate X3. Not looking back anymore and it is a good replacement.
Smaller footprint to keep in pockets but big screen when I needed it.. It even lighter and smaller than my iPhone 14PM when folded.
