I just retired my HK Mate 20X 5G with Mate X3. Not looking back anymore and it is a good replacement.
Smaller footprint to keep in pockets but big screen when I needed it.. It even lighter and smaller than my iPhone 14PM when folded.
Wow ... looks like no regrets for you... so which color you gotten ?

I went into Malaysia yesterday to see the honor magic vs.... it felt good also just that the crease is more obvious and heard sg honor coming back...

Still on the fence ...

I went for gray, last set at westgate. This X3 is really really light, I can hold it for long while reading or watching videos. I cannot do the same for X2.

PSA: BUYER BEWARE!!!

I have just received confirmation from a reputable phone dealer (RedWhiteMobile) that Singapore's Huawei Mate X3 warranty is ONLY for 1 year and NOT the 2 years as we have been led to believe. Brick-and-mortar stores like Huawei's own concept store at 313 Somerset and Challenger store claimed 2 years but Huawei SG confirmed it is not. Thanks to RedWhiteMobile's confirmation with Huawei SG. An extra year of warranty for an expensive and fragile phone means a lot to customers for peace of mind.

I have also sent an email to Huawei SG to confirm this warranty duration and as soon as I get the official email in black and white, I will post it here as proof.

Buyer beware!!!

Weird that they changed the warranty policy. Does Huawei SG and Huawei retail shops communicate properly especially on such important policies? 1 and 2 years is quite a significant difference. The price at which the X3 retails at, 2 years of warranty is reasonable to me.

Yah, for me it's easy decision. I ready use the matexs series before and since I have been using hw as primary mainly, I m used to it's emui and how to work around gms. So for me, really not much to be concerned about plus 2 year warranty and Kunlun glass, wireless and waterproof foldable. Significant upgrade over matexs2
Is this 1 year or 2 year warranty?

Even the Challenger store sales guy kept insisting that Huawei told him it was 2 years but I guess we are all been deceived.

It is not difficult to understand why Huawei only provide 1 year warranty since this phone is made of many complicated parts and probably repair isn't going to be easy and requires a lot of effort (be it time and manpower). I urged those been told 2 years by the sales staff to confront Huawei SG for an explanation.

Can anyone confirm that EMUI 13.1 now support Android Auto? This is according to Huawei. Of course, GPay still won't be supported. To those who are using the Mate X3 or P60, how is the Lighthouse app working for you? Can anyone confirm that the Google Calendar notification is not working as it should?

Bought a P60pro and install lighthouse.

Noticed that after lighthouse is installed and signed in, will receive notification email that google login via another device (eg: samsung or xiao mi). I thought my account kena hack. So i change google password and later noticed Gbox installed app like hang and unable to work.

Reset the phone 2-3 times and re-install lighthouse and confirmed received same notification email again (login via another device) . I guess lighthouse is probably trying to deceive the restriction by signing via another phone . Able to install gmail, G drive, G map and G drive..etc and use it natively.

Youtube still require Gbox to install in order to work. I am not using G calendar hence unable to comment.
