Perhaps you are right. I didnt really go test out which causes the login another device issue as i was installing lighthouse and Gbox almost at the same time.Login using lighthouse should show your actual device model tho. But login using GBox will show it as a Xiaomi device (I tried both lighthouse and GBox on my X3)
i dont think android auto can work. i never got it to work with huawei and it doesnt always work well with regular GMS phones either. Google calender should be fine though i m using outlook calender insteadCan anyone confirm that EMUI 13.1 now support Android Auto? This is according to Huawei. Of course, GPay still won't be supported. To those who are using the Mate X3 or P60, how is the Lighthouse app working for you? Can anyone confirm that the Google Calendar notification is not working as it should?
Lighthouse is the huawei version of microG. MicroG is an analog for GMS that was created by a project sponsored by the german government to create a free and open version to prevent lock in by google. It enables most of the notification and internal checks by android apps. You will get a notification when you first log in just like when you log into your google account on a new phone. You should be able to see the device identity in the notification and it should show your device model numberBought a P60pro and install lighthouse.
Noticed that after lighthouse is installed and signed in, will receive notification email that google login via another device (eg: samsung or xiao mi). I thought my account kena hack. So i change google password and later noticed Gbox installed app like hang and unable to work.
Reset the phone 2-3 times and re-install lighthouse and confirmed received same notification email again (login via another device) . I guess lighthouse is probably trying to deceive the restriction by signing via another phone . Able to install gmail, G drive, G map and G drive..etc and use it natively.
Youtube still require Gbox to install in order to work. I am not using G calendar hence unable to comment.
An update on this sagat. I just called huawei support and they said they will investigate this. Will update when they revert. I have made it very clear that the sales person has promised us 2 years warranty at point of order. It is not difficult to understand why Huawei only provide 1 year warranty since this phone is made of many complicated parts and probably repair isn't going to be easy and requires a lot of effort (be it time and manpower). I urged those been told 2 years by the sales staff to confront Huawei SG for an explanation.
U can try Singtel dashDoes anyone know is there any app that we can use to pay for public transport?
Is this proven to work? As the apps comment that it may not work. Any one tried this?U can try Singtel dash
Main thing is GPay for me.Hearing so many complaints about not being able to use google service. Why not just migrate to Microsoft - OneDrive, Outlook, Ms Calendar. The only thing still lacking though is Maps.
Its already stated black and white no GMS. They should complain to US instead.Hearing so many complaints about not being able to use google service. Why not just migrate to Microsoft - OneDrive, Outlook, Ms Calendar. The only thing still lacking though is Maps.
Lol, what is the pricing for other similar foldables ? Pixel fold is almost the same or higher if iu import . Unless u go for fold 4 which is discounted now but the fold 5 is coming soon and I imagine the price isn't gonna be cheap either . Then again, all other foldables are also one year warranty ...Went to molest the mate x3 the design is very slim but the price is way very exp
And only 1 year warranty
Nope. Only 2 x physical sim slots. I heard only China version supported eSIM, I might be wrong.Does this phone have esim?
You mean Huawei Pay does not work? Are we not able to register a credit card and use it for pay wave or in public transports. Will need Huawei owners to share whether they can use it or not. I use GooglePay for public transport. Not sure if Huawei pay works.Main thing is GPay for me.
No it doesn't. It only works for very selected China bank cards. You mean Huawei Pay does not work? Are we not able to register a credit card and use it for pay wave or in public transports. Will need Huawei owners to share whether they can use it or not. I use GooglePay for public transport. Not sure if Huawei pay works.
