No exact Eta but late June. Usually means production in order, but they cannot commit a specific time due to fear of shipping delays

got memory card la..

512 is available.. at expansys.. just not locally..
Yep, SD Card expansion is great. One of the huge factors many of us are considering an Xperia, being one of the last flagship products that offer expandable storage.
But I also share his sentiment. At almost $2k, you would at it to be the 512GB version..

Curious is Expansys local set supported by Sony Warranty? Seeing how Sony SG store doesn't offer the 512GB model.

update: Just found a post on reddit for Taiwan's price:
256GB - NTD38990 - SGD1,714.97
512GB - NTD41990 - SGD1,846.92

Though from the looks of it, no wh-1000xm5 bundle.

Nice! They test 4k recording at 35 degrees (closest to SG temp) For 4k 30fps it restricted some functions at 24th minute, and stopped at 47 minutes. Nice!! Hope they did this recording at full manual brightness as well.

Just sharing,y If you bought overseas, SG Sony don't cover or help repair the phone. You will need to send back to the country of origin.

I gotten the hk set for Sony Xperia iv.. although I have two years warranty from hk, I need to bring it back to service.

One of the con is Netflix, I can't get it to work with better resolution. It's shows l3 for Netflix app itself. But I am able to get 4k for YouTube.

For 5g, not sure if Singtel covers also. Although I'm on 5g, it will always shows NR NSA .

Not saying go buy export sets la, just disappointment SG didn't get the 512GB version despite costing more :(

btw, anyone experience using device with gorilla glass victus 2? I went comando with my 5ii that uses Gorilla Glass 6. No micro scratches on the front from what I can tell. The back different story 😅

Then I came according to this guy's video:

Seems like Victus glass are made more flexible to prevent shatter when drop, but trade off being less scratch resistant? Contemplating using screen protector now...

To me it's very simple . ALWAYS buy casing and screen and lens protector and apply first hand.

I don't play much 4k YouTube on my phone, it's to mentioned this phone is capable up to 4k playback. My key sharing is the Netflix issues with my hk set.

A SD quality to a full hd on this phone is obvious.
