any one has good experiences with china rom? I used a 11 and 12 ultra china rom and it was wonderful for a while and then later on all the delayed notification, tried the fix doesn't work, banking apps started to have issues months into it. Sold it. Also apps don't get fast updates to dl on the china rom

Was wondering did anything change since? kindly do share thanks!

No issue so far with notification, but I think there is bug with light up notification on MIUI14. App still update frequently thru google play. Many of the notification issue can be solved with autostart/battery saver option.

Thanks. I was very frustrated because i had no other phones but Xiaomi and the banking apps would not load. just empty screen (DBS, SC, POSB) along with delayed notifications so i had no choice but to buy some other phone. I do miss the display and the cameras very much as well as the touch sampling. There just isn't any like it....and i have tried a number of flagship usual mainstream. I do wonder why people don't bother with this.. is it the "non atas" branding?

Does ANYONE only have xiaomi as their main phone (enough confidence?)

to most Xiaomi is a china n budget brand. even u tell them 13u is the flagship... they will said $8xx?

perhaps its only me but when i got the iphone 14 pro max i saw the "slowness" of the touch sampling and had to hurry to sell it before the price drops by the day. so Xiaomi phone is really fast and you are RIGHT!!!! they will HUH? how much? crazy and will not bother (which then is a problem in the secondary market, very small and lose so much value) . I'm also considering pixel phones, the camera is so GOOD but...dropped calls, wifi drops aiyah , heat from tensor, all so troublesome.

I think delays notifications got fix... from ez ones like allow this n that + lock it.. (got ppl even said delay notifications doesn't exist anymore.)
extreme method - flash EU
banks apps.... I dunno about the fix... as my 11u no problem... n those with no issue also will say theirs is fine... just u only...
if comes to this stage, n can't find anymore solution then is time to sell liao...

I am using K50 Ultra and have not encountered these delayed notification issues.

I have been using xm as main phone for years. There is always a fix to the lag notification. U just need to do the setting. If it doesnt work well, use the adb method. Then last option flash to EU rom. Banking app etc all along no issue even before 11u.

You mean Monmar? I don’t know; am waiting for another China phone from them. Been 8 days and still waiting. Some of the other shops same price and had ready stock for 13u so I went with another one also ordering 12 months warranty for “non human damage”.

Yup but I only need Google one and it works so Chinese ROM is fine for me. Really enjoying the xiaomi.

I just bought one from TB and installed it. Had to follow a video guide and then had to curve it at the sides but it works and it's super private. Not cheap by TB standards but pleased with it. Fingerprint detection also not affected.

Clear film very hard to swipe. Prefer matte film
