I happen to be at Canberra plaza. Went simba ask cso about idd calls. She says if in msia must download simba voice app to call. Infront of me 1 uncle xiaomi 12 got problem.

One of the most important factors that I'm sticking to SIMBA is its relatively cheap PPU for roaming data for that Group A countries if I ever used up my bundled 1GB!


SIMBA charges $4/1GB whereas Circles Life charges $3.00/100MB! Imagine the huge difference in PPU charging structure!

Personally, there isn't any point at all for me to pay more than $10 per month for a 2GB or 50GB of roaming data if I don't travel frequently. Really wasted my money every month in that respect!

Therefore, a $10 plan and PPU is super suitable and a very fair to me!

those that able to get 5G SIMBA on their phone, do install nPerf app on your phone to help map the 5G areas of SIMBA. 5G areas are quite extensive now.

I've been asking that for quite some time, but there doesn't seem to be much attention paid to it. Either just enjoying the service and don't bother to contribute.

IDD call or call back Singapore number? Call back Singapore number can be done without app and free. Anyway who uses IDD calls nowadays? WhatsApp is your free IDD provider.

Has anyone tried iPhone esim transfer to a new iPhone with Simba esim? Does it work?

Hi guys I am ported in to Simba this morning. Horrors! Although I am using an old iPhone iPhone 7+ and is already volte compatible, I cannot make any local calls at all.

Others cannot call in either. And my phone shows LTE instead of 4G previously from another telco.

Is this normal?

Have you checked to see if VoLTE is also turned on on your iPhone settings?

I did it about half an hour ago and checked the option. It’s working now

Non volte compatible phones I think. I actually downloaded the app and it does work. Except that mine was already volte compatible so I googled for more info

I have Simba in my ip7plus. Can make calls just need to turn on volte..

for iPhone it seems it's displayed as LTE. But LTE and 4G is almost the same.

don't ocd too much on 2 or 3 bars. try the difference when streaming videos or general web surfing. Is there a difference between simba now and your ex-telco. And also in value wise. Simba has lot's of future potential as they are using their own network. They only build and maintain 4G infrastructure. While other 3 telcos have to maintain 3G infrastructure too.
