Ok i am helping my friend build a 7800X3D setup today

Dynacore really don't wanna stock Asrock stuff, and B650E PG Riptide sold out

Ended up with an Asus B650E-F Strix :s22:

Edit: Assembled, and today I learnt I hated Asus BIOS

Maybe will have people bringing it in through import?? Or can order from US? But the shipping might not be worth it... so might as well go for 5800X3D from SLS.

Yeah you are right, it is only sold in store at Micro Centre... not anywhere else... no online also.. unless someone sell it on e-bay... but even with that I do not expect scalping price though... as really no point...

also can someone recommend me a mobo as well as a RGB DDR5 kit to go along side the 7800x3d?

I have always been building intel parts and have not much info on amd builds and what is recommended. The ram has to be a different ram from what intel uses? need to specifically buy AMD expo rams?

if u only plan to use 1 nvme and 1 gpu, honestly any mobo is good enough, even a620. imo the best bang for buck locally is the combo with the asus tuf b650m from dynacore, which is the cheapest b650 combo by far. 3d vcache parts are not as sensitive to memory timings though, so even slower ram kits can be used without much performance loss in cpu limited scenarios. personally I'd just go for the cheapest ddr5 kit with the rgb and aesthetic that I prefer.

there is no need for expo ram, have heard ppl loading xmp profiles on am5 without issue. I would still opt for expo for ease of mind though.

yes only 1 nvme drive which a pcie gen 4 ssd, the sk hynix platinum p41 ssd which i already have or maybe a samsung 990 pro, gpu will be 4070 ti. even a620 is ok? or better to get b650?

can u recommend a rgb ddr5 kit? i have always been using gskill triedenz ram kits but thats for my intel builds and just enable XMP in bios. i not sure about amd though. can u recommend me any RGB ram kit that has decent speed and timings that won affect performance?

You referring to this bundle ah?

after shop coupon is about $969. not sure during 7.7 will be cheaper or not.

but if get via carousel export set with gigabye bundle..i think $820 also can get. Better to buy local?

I know intel cpu..export set also ok since its international warranty. not sure for amd

yep a620 is okay since 7800x3d does not consume a lot of power, especially in games. however, dynacore's price for the asus tuf b650m is borderline too good to be true, being only $10-20 more expensive than the a620 boards and hence would be a no brainer for me.

if u are willing to try xmp on am5, theres the adata xpg lancer rgb 6000c30 at $205. for amd expo kits, theres either the kingston fury beast rgb 6000c36 at $180 or gskill trident z5 neo rgb 6000c32 at $210. all 32gb kits from dynacore. bizgram lists the same gskill model for $205 but only discloses 6000mhz and not secondary timings, maybe can ask. but then again, for x3d part these shouldnt matter too much.

yes, but dynacore price list has it for 929. they will add $15 to this price if u just get the bundle, so can consider buying more stuff from them.

i would only buy export if it is significantly cheaper, perhaps under $700 can consider, but also depends on ur risk appetite. for amd cpu, where the cpu comes from does matter, if u buy from china for eg cannot claim under local amd office. but in my experience ive never had to rma a single cpu.

I thought you already bought your combo of 13700K? Just stick to your 13700K combo.

Budget not really an issue for you right? Can try this combo from Dynacore. I heard very good review on Asrock Steel legend. One of the pro here also using.

7800X3D + Asrock X670 Steel Legend - 1193.

already ordered from someone in carousel with a b650m board. basically the rig just for csgo / cs2.

$815. I think its a good price just hope no issues. The guy will give me personal warranty for a week or 2, once all okay den left international warranty which he say he can arrange for me if there is issues. will try my luck hahas

previously my pc is used for work as well thats why go for intel but recently purchased a 13 gen dell xps laptop. so the laptop will be use for work whilst the PC wil be just for gaming.. soooooo... mobo wise i dont really need top of the line mobos..wont really affect performance... basically just 7800x3d + 4070ti and a fast ssd and thats it haha... i purchased the sk hynix platinum p41 ssd, has one of the highest random IOPS speeds for 1TB models even faster than the samsung 990 pro 1tb variant.

mobo wise.... was told wont affect much in performance anyway. reason i change to amd because i saw the power draw during gaming. much lower on the amd vs intel.
