Anyone using ultra with galaxy watch 5 pro? Any issues? Torn between s23u and this.
I'm using it; there's no issue since it's global rom. Understand that pixel watch and galaxy watch 5/pro can't work with China rom.

Personal preference is such that I sold away my S23 ultra, and was using the Xiaomi 13 pro before getting the 13 ultra. I like the user interface, faster wireless charging, dual apps, second space, etc, but will have to get used to holding the phone with the huge camera bump 😅

Thanks for replying.

My previous experience was S3 frontier paired with mi 9. Wasn't a good one.

Correction. It is possible to make Galaxy watch 5 pro work with china Rom. I am using it with my Realme GT Neo 5.

That's good to know, because I could not make it work with the China rom Xiaomi Fold 2 previously (I tried the different methods mentioned online).

And I am not savvy enough to install other roms.

Hence, I'll stick with global rom from now onwards 😬

Speaking of cases, which case are you all using/recommmend for 13 ultra?

The one I'm using has a higher tilt compared to the original case making it even more lopsided when placed on a flat surface. It's a bit tilting.

Compared to official case

But then, the case has a built in 17mm screw to fix the macro lens attachment, has protects the lens glass too. Kind of wish the tilt isn't that high

Actually I want genuine feedback from these new owners of mi 13 ultra. How to do find the screen as compared against Samsung AMOLED E6?
I think u posted in the xiaomi facebook group yesterday right?

Let me answer u here again.

I don't think u should worry much about Samsung vs China made screens... I can tell u China made screens now is comparable or even better than samsung made screens *looking at samsung display green line issue*

I am using poco f5 which has a china made display. I dont see much difference between both, and china made screens do focus more on eye protection more (looking at s23 ultra 240hz pwm dimming vs 1920hz pwm dimming on my poco f5)

Don't forget Xiaomi also got issues before like tianma IPS screen ghost screen problem.
Problems like mi 8 wifi issue
Mi 11 series super hot sd888 issues.
Chronic failures that's shows not enough testing done before pushing product out.
Not trying to bash Xiaomi but their original path was listening to their fans and improve their products but it seems to be forgotten or forsaken over profitability.

Sd888 issue is samsung fab issue. What it got to do with the screen :s22:

China made screens started to be better these 2 years. Before that it indeed has some issue.

Screen provides by 3rd party same same like sd888 provided by 3rd party.
My question is just wondering if xiaomi have perform enough rest before pushing out products.

Samsung also have very good reputation for their chips but then sd888 happens.

There's not enough information about Huaxing C7 panels except on paper stating higher nits.

Their memory chip is good definitely. But we are talking about mobile processor chips.....

Ya their mobile processor chips are good at sucking battery and good at generating tons of heat :s13:
