Also looking for something similar. A more physically demanding job but indoor.

I am really strong for my age and I feel a bit wasted to just let my body rot by sitting for hours in office.
Train up to be a physical fitness instructor ? flexi hours, more physical activity and indoor

A last minute jump in the last week of June to close the gap with VT, so I'm still hopeful that I can hit 10% by the end of this year..... :p

Are you more in a world index than S&P? My portfolio is up 26% ytd but I have mainly cspx and some big tech

I am underweight tech so my portfolio has been underpeforming. I just don't know how to value tech stocks so I can't buy them 😅

May numbers in SGD terms:
YTD networth excluding new inflows = 7.97%
YTD networth including new inflows = 10.59%

Networth 1-Jan-2023 = 1.228 million SGD
Networth 31-May-2023 = 1.374 million SGD

Equity allocation 61.63%

In May, I itchy hands bought 100k into China equity funds and already lost 4k in it lol.
But still may has been a good month for 3 reasons:
1)I received 14k annual bonus
2)SGD has dipped in May quite a lot, so it helps overseas equities valuation in SGD terms
3)US markets have done well :)

Jun numbers in SGD terms:
YTD networth excluding new inflows = 10.22%
YTD networth including new inflows = 13.13%

Networth 1-Jan-2023 = 1.228 million SGD
Networth 30-Jun-2023 = 1.414 million SGD

Equity allocation 60.79%

tonight is a good night. let's rejoice at least for tonight
Yup, could be end of quarter window dressing, or could be start of summer rally after the 4th of July.

Jun numbers in SGD terms:
YTD networth excluding new inflows = 10.22%
YTD networth including new inflows = 13.13%

Networth 1-Jan-2023 = 1.228 million SGD

Equity allocation 60.79%

Nice, 200k gain in 6 months.

SPY is up 14% YTD so you must got good returns on your tech stocks to average out to 26% (y)

Ya my main holdings outside cspx are GOOG, AAPL and MSFT. But like other posters, it’s more like back to square one after the losses of last year. Not a bad place to be!

YTD liquid net worth growth is 6% .. as long as my portfolio is not too negative, it will keep hitting another high given expense has been constant

Don't think Singaporeans are willing to accept a drop in networth even during retirement when it's expected to be so

I can accept, net worth just stop growing for the first 10years or so when I can live on passive income then only start to drop when I draw down the principal. Best is to deplete most of my networth when I depart from this world, just leave behind enough for funeral and some token money for my nieces and nephews
