Rolex about 17-18th. PP could be anytime from 10th onwards
i’m not waiting any Rolex for time being. PP is a possibility. Will see
Oh u mentioned previously that they would know earlier in the month what may be arriving? So by now they should know already? Haha this game is so complex.

Based on data from the recent cortina hack, the various boutiques are keeping on average between 50-100 pcs (incl. display pcs) in inventory each month.

They can easily plan upcoming allocation based on what is already in their safe ;)

Oh wow didn’t know there were much information available publicly about the leak, only knew that they have certain sales strategies.

I see, if the boutiques indeed have inventory lying around for vvvips, then it’s really a matter of whether they want to allocate or not, rather than the picture they paint that they also don’t know what is coming and when

Yes, the comments on this thread about the observed methods of a certain AD confirm that as well. There is always watches available for allocation readily, its up to them (AD) who they wish to allocate to.

They will look at past (rolling) 12-months purchase history for the proposal by each SA - ppl (VVIPs) do spend mind-boggling amounts within that 12-month window.

I tried to follow as closely as I can but I don’t rem this - which particular AD is this?

So say a SS Daytona, what might be the “market rate” for qualifying spend now? And would this differ significantly for a panda vs a black dial? I suppose this is for regular folks… of cuz vvip would be different 😅

They should know but they are not at liberty to tell you everything they know and they would keep “the cards close to their heart” and are also selective in choosing to whom, how much to reveal and when to reveal certain info. I think my SA is able to gauge I should be quite close to getting the Aquanaut allocation but for now I think I will not say too much due to the previous experience

Thanks bro! True, can imagine they need to be selective depending on info. And agree u need to be selective in sharing info that’s identifiable or private in this public forum!

They're playing games and ruining it for us.

Did the hack reveal the numbers for PP? Haha

Lol!! But seriously, I dunno if I understand correctly, but vvvips mean celebrities or powerful ppl or the spending is out of this world kind, whereas more regular folks got some spending quota to hit. Are u saying now normal spending don’t qualify for Daytona?

Does anyone know anywhere that can remove a permanent link from a Submariner 16610 bracelet in Singapore? I have maxed out removing the removable links but bracelet is still loose.

I read it’s possible by removing the rivet and joining the clasp to the 2nd from last link on the 6pm side, but the local ADs & RSC said only way is to break link & lose the taper.

I have some examples of what I need doing but unable to post URLs - I can share via PM if anyone would like more info. Any help is appreciated!

yes, break the link but it can be placed back on it.
you will have to lose the taper no choice.
