There is risk it might not been approved.

Someone mention earlier application rejected
If each person credit rating is sai then really have ownself to blame . That’s the overriding hygiene factor.
It’s like saying my PR application was rejected . Oh but i forgot to mention I have criminal record.
wana bet? I bet those people who whining application rejected , have never even seen their credit rating in their lives.

Personally I have never been rejected of fee waiver from any bank. And have canceled n re-applied cards months, weeks , sometimes even days apart.

Shopee Tx are with the description "SHOPEE SINGAPORE MP SINGAPORE"

Shopee Supermarket Tx are with the description "Shopee Singapore SINGAPORE"

$6.35. The probelm is somehow their system don't recogize shopee supermart tx as shopee tx, thus no additional cashback. That is probably because of the change of MCC from marketplaces to supermarkets.
looks like the issue strikes me again... just bought two things through shopee today (7.7 sales) and when I checked the pending transactions, it shows Shopee Singapore without the "MP".

got a bad feeling these two transactions will - once again - be left out of the 5% additional rebate. quarter ending this month so will know soon... then have to call in again.

sianz.

Ya. as long as not from refund it's ok, unless some of your transaction is not eligible, eg. Shopeepay Top up.

Previously I saw a post mentioned for refund reflected on the next month you just need to spend more to cover will do.
eg. June I spend $1000 and refund $300 that reflected in July, I need to spend $1000 + $300 to cover.
Not sure does it works as I tried before for period of time, I buy and refund till I lost track.

Now need to hit their minimum spending to get rewards, Some platform offer you some discount if you use PayNow.
When I got my UOB One card around 9 years ago, they do allow installment to clock as spending.
I got my BTO and bought my appliances with installment to get $300 rebates for spending $2000 installment quarterly.
"Previously I saw a post mentioned for refund reflected on the next month you just need to spend more to cover will do.

Anyone knows about this? They really should be clearer. Quite important leh. I align my statement with calender month. Then UOB's tie up with shopee has sale on 25th of each month. By the time the goods are delivered, if you find out got any issues and ask for a refund, by the time the refund is processed confirm next month and next statement already.

Edit: UOB chat couldn't answer; need to get their rewards people to call back.

the requirement is quite clearly stated in the terms and conditions. ALL three months in the quarter must exceed the $1000 (example) to get the $100 rebate.

you can only appeal to them AFTER the quarter ends if they can allow you to top up any month which is short (based on genuine reasons like refunds). even so, it is based on their kindness whether to accept your appeal or not. it is not your right to demand from them :o

avoid spending near the end of the month to prevent such issues.

I think this is how it works.

If your refund comes in after the statement for current month is posted, you will just need to spend an extra amount equal to the refund amount in the next month to offset the credited amount.

If your refund comes in just in time on the last day or within the last few days of the month, it will be taken that you did not hit the minimum spending for the current month (supposed your planned spending is exactly the minimum spending required). For this, you will need to appeal to see if you can spend more the following month (an extra amount equal to the refund amount) so that you hit the minimum spending required.

I see, if this is how it works, it's fine and fair. Can still try to hold off refund till the next statement period and then make additional spending to cover for it.

for the month of June, i miss the one bonus interest..
usually, i will get around $450+ per month..

it seems i didn't fulfill the $500 retail and shopping criteria despite my CC bill is around 2-3k per month..

man.. is there a better way to hit this tier?

Was it salary credit? If not what did you spend on your cc?

Could be that nursing home and medical bills are excluded from eligible spent. Can check with uob

You should always use the interest tracker to check if you hit the card spent.

Any shortfall just go and get ntuc gift card and top up and slowly spend in a year (top up $10 to extend expiry date further)

ermm, may i ask where is this interest tracker found?

i'm using the app,
i have UOB one account for saving and salary crediting.
UOB one CC for credit card spending.

i didn't get any one bonus interest in June spent as i'm not hitting the $500 on retail and restaurants.

Using the mobile app, go to UOB one account page. By default it will bring you to the transaction listing. Click on the tab "details". You will see interest tracker. Click view activities.

Use this to track within the month. If insufficient spending, can quickly spend to hit.

UOB must have approved lots of new Swifties credit card applications. Submitted my AF waiver request through the automated channel 3 Jul. Today received SMS that waiver request is unsuccessful. Called CSO to cancel card, no questions asked, they proceed to close the cc account immediately and reverse AF charges :):):)
