50W max wireless charging only activated when screen is off.

In that case why does it say "30W MAX" when it is charging? Shouldn't it say "50W MAX"?

This issue is well documented here at www dot xiaomi.eu/community/threads/xiaomi-13-pro-wireless-charging-capped-at-30w.68448

So, has anyone actually seen "50W MAX" while wirelessly charging with the bundled 50W wireless charger?

*Place your Xiaomi smartphone with Fast Wireless Charging on the wireless charging stand to start fast wireless charging. For best performance, fast wireless charging requires recommended with Xiaomi 67W and 120W Chargers .The power output can reach up to 50W with a Xiaomi 12 Pro or Xiaomi 12. *If using a protective case, the case thickness should not exceed 3mm. Please ensure that there are no metal objects between the wireless charging surface and the smartphone. We recommend Xiaomi smartphone official protective cases.*This product is Qi certified by the Wireless Power Consortium (WPC) to charge devices that are also certified by the Consortium. However, due to the differences between individual devices, some products may exhibit reduced charging efficiency. *All above data come from the Xiaomi Laboratory. However, data may vary due to objective environmental changes. Please refer to the actual values.

Nothing on power output on Xiaomi13 Phones

Thanks again
Bro i am not so sure. I got mine off Aliexpress, so far so good.

I have 2 xiaomi wireless charging stand. I can only get 30W max on the 13 ultra from the free one that came with the phone.

but when i put my Xiaomi 12 Pro on it. it can charge at 50W max.

My older xiaomi wireless charger can charge b\oth phones at 50W max. Both chargers tested with the 120W Xiaomi charger.

Weird

You are right, it charges the 13 ultra at 30W max. But the 12 Pro at 50W max. I have no idea why

That's because of the camera bump that creates an air gap resistance between the phone and the charger. U need to use the new white wireless charger then can charge to 50w. Or try the old 80w white wireless charger.

@JAson1980 the position of the charging coil also is one of the cause to archive 50w charging.

Also the 100w car charger from what I found is that only when nothing connected to the usb-a port then the output to the wireless charger can hit 50w.

Yes i know, i tried all positioning to get the 13 ultra to charge it at 50W max but don't seem to be able to at least on the black wireless charger. Basically i have placed it at the optimal position with the closest proximity to the charger but still unable to get 50W wireless charging.

For the black charger, the lower portion is basically the exhaust port. the wireless charging pad is above the 50W wording. Honestly when Xiaomi made these wireless chargers, they did not expect themselves to produce such a huge camera on their phones. Basically the phone is dangling on the camera while placed on the wireless chargers. :s13:

Profit first, consumer feedback not important.

nope..so far the current one is not as much of a dust magnet as the Realme GT2 Pro's factory protector.

only did the lens protector and now using the lens cap. As someone mentioned...very concerned about scratching the lens glass more than the screen. I think the screen using tempered, gel or factory protector is ok.

Seems like the original protector is thicker than most default protector.

Will use it abit longer and keep my tempered glass as spare
