was hoping the v2 to sell at the same price.

I saw one mobile shop selling at $2039 which is the cheapest compared to those selling in Shopee. I also interested to get this phone too.

The seller is in Carousell and I have already order the Gold Colour with the Stylus Pen separately.

True and no issue with my existing VIVO X Fold+ even though there is warranty by seller and also export set from China.

Based on RMB9999 for 16GB+512GB...it should be less than $2k and confirmed cheaper than samseng fold5.

Let's be clear.
China phone/ROM got Google Services also. Only Huawei dun have.

Just need to go settings and on it and manually load in Play Store. But following will not work:
1. Android Auto
2. Wear OS Watches (Got hack to make it work but no guarantee.)
3. Location history

Dude,
Except for Huawei, almost all the China phones have built in GMS. Some phones you need to enable it manually but for most, the GMS is enabled by default. So it was surprising that the V2 does not even have GMS. I had a terrible time setting up the huawei mate x3 using the petal app, Gspace and Gbox. Final straw - after installation, can't sync the google apps. :oops:
So I hope there will be Malaysian release for the V2. Or wait for the xiaomi mix fold 3.

Yes, the global set will have GMS except for Huawei and some old model Honor under the Huawei sub. For any other CN brand set just needs to manually install it which normally will work.
Huawei is a completely different global issue as compared to other CN brands that allowed GMS. Huawei is banned by the US from using its technology including 5G too.
