I got the same reply as well when i asked about it for Magic 5 Pro. This concern is how long they are going to take or if it is going to even be done eventually. They are at the mercy of local telcos.

I guess local telcos are waiting for clearance from US before allowing Volte to be applied to Magic 5 Pro, or maybe won't have clearance at all

I feel eventually will have VOLTE support since 3G closing in July 2024. If telco dun wan work with honor den they can go answer to IMDA should consumer go complain..

Quite impossible for a company to just come in 1yr and exit.. sure got contract bound de.
iirc honor is run by telechoice based on previously someone mentioned b4 in this thread.. a search on google shows it a listed company and also a subsidiary of ST Telemedia..

Bought a honor 90 recently for my family member to use. Shld be same in terms of basic functionality.

On starhub sim card, no volte. I plug in my singtel sim cars also don't see volte.

Still can call. No impact until July 24. Pro is no scammer can call you. Cons is nobody can call you after July 24 if still not supported by then.

Just like other normal android phone with google playstore.

no VOLTE doesn't affect me hence i do not think it is a issue now..
all my apps are working well just like any android phone..
