Yeah, but I prefer EU ROM over CN ROM with wallet haha let me know if you find a 3rd party app that can do the same. MIUI 14 also have but it didn't work, not sure why. Only the one from Razr 40 Ultra work flawlessly.

ya, miui i confirm also cant use. i was googling and saw people say huawei ones work by default. no huawei to try. CN rom i cant use, google map will kill me, i need to drive frequently and without map i sure die

buy 1 global unit to try myself, even after installing the app still cant use. got prompt to ensure im using a PRC handset.

If u need to load Play Store yourself, is China ROM. But I can get Google Services and Maps working well. No problem.

google maps will have delay, and i cant share location via whatsapp. i use that quite frequently so its annoying if i cant use that

then no choice have to convert it to EU/GB ROM already, you can refer to the earlier threads to find out how to do it, it's relatively a simple process to my surprise.

mine works fine as well. only thing i can't use whatsapp from the outside screen to do attachment. for eg, i can't click the paperclip button to share location/send pictures etc. i have to flip open phone to do that

Hi all, keen to try this phone but have several questions:
- Understand that CN set can be flashed with EU ROM, does this mean that it's GMS preloaded + singpass etc working (I saw earlier someone here mention he couldn't get his singpass working on EU ROM)
- Are EU and GB ROM different or the same?
- Does 5G work on CN sets?
- Any delayed notifications on CN sets?

I already sold the phone but based on my last test before I sold it, yes, you can use the Singpass, etc after you flashed it to EU ROM and relocked the bootloader.

To my eyes they are the same. I flashed the EU ROM and change the channel to RETGB and I was getting an OTA

Should be working but I can't confirm since I don't have the 5G plan

- Any delayed notifications on CN sets?
