$5 senior plan.
Emailed Simba with the whole story and steps I have taken but they didn't care to read and only telling me standard things which I have performed. They could have check on the network status for my line and tell me what's wrong. Wasted another day without network.
Did you managed to get back a connection?

it’s like building a house progressive?
It’s not even final yet

if u do a compare against some who is not completed versus another who is completed at that spot, obviously the result would be difernce
IMHO.
I would say if it was truly progressive, there won't be 5G at all.
Would you build a building from ground up floor by floor or try to build one skipping floor ?

Omg.... My home used to be 4g not 4g+ and 1 to 3 bar. Now 4 to 5 bar with 5g.

Guess my feedback went thru and they improved it in about 2 months.

Thank you, Simba.

So people. Don't give up. Feedback and they will improve for you

The last reply from Simba was 6th Sep. But before that I already feedback one around Aug. Below is their reply.

Upon checking there is an OD site planned which will improve the connection. However, there is no time frame when it will be completed.
IMHO.
I never feedback also got 5G. :ROFLMAO:

It is the limitation of the n1 5G allocated to them and has nothing to do with whether they build it fast or slow. The rest has the 5G n78 bands which is 10 times faster. No matter what Simba does, the physical speed limit for n1 + NSA n40 will never exceed 250Mbps. As long as the 5G base stations and repeaters are there, it go directly into the fibre optic system managed by Netlink, there won't be speed limitations there, the limitations lie in the airwave bandwidth. The only way they can get more bandwidth for 5G is to wait for 3G to be retired next year and see if those bands can be taken back and auctioned as 5G. The rest jump on the 10/100 bandwagon because they don't have a choice, the Telcos behind them are seeing Simba closing on the 1m mark in terms of subscribers, they need to either follow or get another name to follow with such a package, Anyway, the 3 old Telcos haven't been competing much over the past 20 to 30 years until Simba comes in, which is probably why a 4th license was issued. I think many still remember the times when the only packages were a 2-year contract with a monthly price depending on the phone model you picked, they didn't even bother to offer any sim-only plan back then.
IMHO.
You can always bring up this point.
In my testing, the fact for me is at locations, no need my other 5G, my 4Gs are faster.

Yes! One doesn't need super high speed likes over 100mbps for most mobile apps usages but one can surely feel and see the huge differences in speed in term of apps opening, apps loading and page loading, including WhatsApp text/audio/video sending and loading as well as apps updates and file downloading, comparing it between other telcos' max transfer speed of 30-40mbps and SIMBA's max transfer speed of just 6-7mbps for that specific scenario!

Tell me about it whom has been jumping ship multiple times between SIMBA and other telcos for the past one year or so!:sneaky: Don't argue with me! (Likes my boss who always tell me so...) :D🤭
Agree, the above 100mbps is only pleasant to eyes only for Speedtest. No one is going to do speedtest all the while. Latency is very important.

Yes, the red operator can be lightning fast in download speed, yet the orange operator can be faster in loading webpages and overall experience. Last time i tried the red before, loading slower than orange. Now value to performance wise, purple is the best valued for money.

Just like in F1, if anyone watches it here. Yes, Ferrari (red) can be very fast in 1-lap sprint for Pole Position, but they can't beat Red Bull over the race distance. It is because Red Bull is very good in race pace and aerodynamics. In this case, is Simba, slower but very consistent.

yet some telco can say 10 is normal and acceptable LOL
they are in their delusional land because site loading already piss people off at that reported location

I like those debates on why not SIMBA $10 plan but other same priced, better network plan.

One of the qualities of SIMBA is eSIM and 1GB roaming to 57 countries by default. Most of our phones in the last 3 years have dual SIM. But not every phone have dual physical SIM, such as iPhone and the Pixel. Until Singtel/Starhub comes out with their eSIM, SIMBA will have a place in my lines.

Speedtest is just a tool to measure stuffs. Measurements are factual but scenario can differs.

Set A
Download ping low 24 ms
Download ping high 2513 ms
Upload ping low 30 ms
Upload ping 7443 ms

Set B
Download ping low 14 ms
Download ping high 148 ms
Upload ping low 16 ms
Upload ping high 314 ms

Set C
Download ping low 26 ms
Download ping high 1578 ms
Upload ping low 33 ms
Upload ping high 5393

Above. If ping is a tool to measure latency, please rank in terms of better ?
E.g. if set A is better, Set A, Set C, Set B

Wah. My Simba sim card is showing as a orange France sim card suddenly. Maybe that's the reason why it got block by china network.

Currently on my Android poco phone.

Maybe I should switch to my iphone and try.

Near to town Central will typically be faster. That's my personal experience.

Mostly faster speed for Simba will be near a repeater eg . Mrt station or shopping complex. At street level if can get 20Mbps download is very good already.
If constantly at 20Mbps then streaming video etc should be smooth and all right.
Honestly how often do we at a time load multiple data hungry apps?
That's why if Simba can maintain constant speed 20Mbps is good enough for majority users.
The problem now is they can't maintain it and speed drop to lower then 5Mbps mostly .
