Does anyone have any experience of whether Honor Singapore having some sales, like 9/9, or 11/11 etc? Considering the Magic 5 Pro and just wondering whether it might get cheaper on 11/11. Other brands like Vivo and Xiaomi had sale on 10/10, but not Honor Singapore.

Personally, I given up hope on Xiaomi phone. As it will become lag after one year of usage.

No leh, nowadays not that bad anymore. Unless you overload it with too much data.
Afterall, Android still have such issues compared to IOS imo.

Latest model even after one year still quite good and smooth, maybe u r talking about older gen with about 6g ram or lesser

I did a quick comparison as I am also considering between the two.

Plus for Xiaomi 13T Pro:
- Leica!
- Dolby Vision
- 2 yrs warranty (Honor only 1 yr)
- 120W charging (vs 66W on Honor)

Plus for Honor Magic 5 Pro:
- 3.5X zoom (vs 2X zoom on 13T Pro)
- Wireless charging (no wireless charging on 13T Pro)
- Higher camera score on DXOMark

Hard to choose, but I love the Huawei cameras, only stopped using Huawei cos of GMS issues, so thinking of giving Honor a try. Xiaomi 13 Pro seems to be a better phone, but different price range.

I'm using both 13T (not the pro) and m5p.
I would say m5p has the better screen, its more vivid.
Camera wise I would say m5p is the better choice unless Leica style is impt to u.
13T got flat screen and m5p is curved, I personally prefer flat screen.
13T blue vegan leather back also makes the phone lighter.
m5p SD 8 Gen 2 should be better I feel

Overall, I would say m5p is the better buy.

U can try more reputable retailers like Challenger, Red White Mobile, Mobyshop, Courts... theirs are brand new stocks with local mfr warranty...

I think you'll also have to check whether it's China ROM or global ROM. Shopee and Carousell has some sellers selling for less than $1k, but either 2nd hand, or China ROM.

Those big stores will be global ROM, with local manufacturer warranty, i.e. warranty is by Honor Singapore.

If you see those sellers that say it's seller/store warranty, or they say China ROM, or no Google Play, then it's a warning sign.
