Do actual Apple store still entertain AC+ purchase after 60 days? IIRC i used to heard that after 60 days if you want to buy from Apple direct, need to go down to have them physically inspect the phone before you can buy.

Is this the case?

i was at apple store just now buying other things. the staff told me for iPhone if you bring to Apple Store within 1 year warranty, you can buy AC+ anytime (even after 60 days)

but they will inspect your physical condition and run diagnostics.

If according to this bro. Then yes Apple entertains AC+ after 60days up to before limited warranty expires.

And yes need go have them physical inspect the phone for damages. Same with qcd/alabs i think.

I think regardless where u buy, refund also go through Apple de.

But if you buy through qcd/alabs u need to keep your ac+ purchase invoice well. Apple will request for it when u req refund, tgt with your AC+ cert from Apple.

Never refund AC+ bought from Apple direct so not sure. Only refunded AC+ bought from QCD. Process quite easy imo. 2 days later get back refund le 🤣

Careful users & yearly upgraders usually don't need.

I also very reluctant to buy AC+ for iPhone. But AP & AW I will buy cuz i feel they will spoil n dmg much easily.

Buy from Apple there’s a very good advantage.
they do online diagnostics and once your device passed, you can buy liao.

Wanna ask, those got your AC+ from Shopee / Lazada with your device.
Do they send you your AC+ service agreement?

Regardless where you buy AC+ from, AC+ agreement is sent from Apple i think..
Provided 3rd party input ur email and not theirs.
Eg 3rd party purchased on your behalf and input ur device S/N, u still get the coverage but they can refund later on but you unable to do anything...

It's their obligation to sell AC+ & input purchaser's info to inforce the agreement.

To answer your original question, Shopee/Lazada flagship store uses purchaser's info for the agreement & not their own. Some bro mentioned both e-stores belongs to iStudio anyway.

Let's not be confused for "sellers" claiming to buy on your behalf at a discounted rate, using their info.

Now I dunno, last 2 year Shopee started PDAP protection and seller only got limited access to customer information.
And I don't recall there's customer email in the data beside order details, customer contact and address.

I’m still considering whether to buy AC+ for my IP15PM or not, have 48 days remaining to consider.

My biggest worry is whether my set has some issue that causes overheating which I consistently experience after using the Photos app, or take a picture and do some simple editing like cropping. Already on iOS 17.0.3.

If you are so doubtful about AC+ legitimacy for shopee/lazada, then why u hooted from shopee then? 🤣

Later u use halfway they refund how? 😲

Aiya I’m lazy to separate my sentences.

Shopee / Lazada only mall seller selling AC+ and I hooted before.m for iPhone 13PM. Cheaper but need to contact them for Activation / service agreement etc.

I contacted them liao but they very slow, so checking with those who had bought.
if Shopee PDPA still same as 2 years ago, there’s no way for mall seller to send me via email.

den I’m referring to those bought from unreliable 3rd party that can purchased in ur behalf but do a refund despite you had received Apple service agreement. Not those under Apple authorized service center…..

Hope u get things sorted out. Seems like you are just eager for answers as shopee side have not got back to you yet.🤣

I don't think there are much/such "unreliable 3rd party" around, who would risk just to save a few bucks.. Often the case will be ppl selling their device with "X remaining AC+" then refund after they sold their device, so new owners lose the coverage.
