Based on my experience with Singtel a year ago, they offer a refund for any remaining balance. However, you may need to wait for it. They may also offer to transfer the balance to another active Singtel account if you have one. Otherwise, you will need to wait for a cheque. I remember I need to call in to asked for my refund.

Another option is to skip the current bill and pay the final bill

Hi .. ported to gomo 2 months ago and juz recd my Singtel bill with credit balance of $28 .... I called the Singtel hotline and was send an sms diverting me to gomo since am now a gomo customer. How do I reach out to Singtel for refund? Thanks for your kind reply.

Recently switched to gomo neighbours plan and i instantly regret. The internet sometimes it work and sometime it dont, despite having 5G network displayed on my phone. The cs told me if it doesnt work, switch the apn to hicard. But the thing is, even at hicard, sometimes it dont work as well, need to manually switch back to e-ideas.

so its a trial and error thing. When no internet, switch the apn. Thats so annoying.

anyone had this issue?

More of GOMO itself having bad connectivity issues, switching APN makes no difference.
I faced similar situation where does not load even with 5G full bar displayed.
GOMO becoming M1 slowly.

So it was not my individual problem.
I been turning on and off airplane mode often recently.

I was with Singtel early last year and ported to GOMO thereafter.

After porting to GOMO from Singtel 3 months later, I received a cheque from Singtel which reimbursed me the unused balance.

i travel to work on mrt and i find simba to be better than gomo on purple line.

But i'm pretty sure singtel loads better than gomo last time inside the train.

Yes for sure. GOMO 4G appears to be throttled for me, but gets better if you're on 5G. Speeds slower than Singtel when you run speed test side by side, unless the area is not congested.

Overall still better than M1 so not complaining for the price.

Singtel’s “budget, chatbot-only customer support and hicard apn” company.

Sister company sounds way too good for GOMO’s level of service.

I believe is like save for raining day.
if base date use finished, can use those from the "bank", so that you don't have to pay extra

or

you can use those "save" data to redeem stuff
